The magnet range issue does looks like a bug, I will investigate it.

There will be more unlocks and upgrades for the reactor and the tech-tree. Some content were disabled for the demo build, which unfortunately led to balance issues towards the end.

Yes, the "gun" is a turret that can be placed on the highlighted areas near the edges. Make sure you have enough Shards and empty slots.

Based on the feedback I have received so far, it seems that the mechanic is not very clear at the moment. So, I will be looking to improve it.

Thank you for the feedback! The modules can only be placed on the highlighted areas near the edges, so it may have been a clarity issue. That said, I will check if there are any bugs involved with this mechanic. 

Also, the two spawn upgrades are definitely confusing as well, so I will look into renaming and improving them.

Good to hear that. I'm slightly disappointed with my ratings. But that's fine, I have learned a few things in the process. Also, the community is great. Very helpful and encouraging.

As per my understanding from previous Jams, your final score is calculated based on the raw ratings you have received and the average of all the rating in the Jam. Therefore, it is important to get a lot of ratings to get an accurate  final score. If you receive few ratings, it will probably get skewed by the average score pretty badly.  

This is my limited understanding. I have no idea how the exact calculations work.  Feel free to correct me :)

Absolutely amazing game! The artwork, music  and the mechanics, all very well done. It can be overwhelming sometimes when there are too many enemies on screen. But that is probably because of my limited playing experience. Maybe you could improve and properly release this game. Also, I like that you added UI and tutorials. Great work :)

This game is very simple yet engaging.  I like the art and music. Also, the humor is on point - "dumb as doorknob bot competition" LOL :D

This is a very interesting idea! Throw objects and enemies to save the  ghost. Enjoyed the artwork as well. Good work! By the way, I have also made a game about ghosts :)

Unique concept. The movement and the collisions feels really good. A little difficult to play though. Still, a very good game :)

Thank you for playing and providing feedback. The AI for the ghosts is very limited, that is why they tend to push the player around. It needs an upgrade. Glad to hear that you loved the graphics :D

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! I couldn't properly playtest the game before release as time was low. However, I did try to disable the player-ghost collision but then the ghosts can't detect the player when they're nearby.  So I guess, the ghost AI needs to be fixed so that they don't surround and push the player. Very interesting project! The concept is great and the voice acting was amazing. One problem I found was the game slows down considerably during the scene in the gallery. Also, I would suggest an option to skip the dialogues / cutscenes if you decide to update the game. That would be useful for replayability.  Other than that, very well done!

Thank you for your comment! In Unity, the light effects are not that hard to do actually. You just have to place the lights and shadow casters in the correct places.
