Awesome game! Possibly my favorite I've played in this jam. Absolutel love the concept and vhs style. Horror esque volleyball is such a fun idea.
Pros: great visuals, excellent music and sound design, creative mechanic, fun gameplay.
Cons: the hitbox on the ball is a bit unforgiving and it felt like I was missing it even when I was positioned pretty well, it would be nice to have a visual indicator for your lives and the boss's health.
I kinda wanted to left the health of the boss invisible so it creates more tension throughout the fight and I really didn't want to bother with ui so I basically said f it and didn't display the health of the player lol
And yeah the ball really has some pretty weird hotboxes and behaviour, if I had more time I would of done it better but it was hard to create all of that by myself in 3 days haha

FEEDBACK :
- maybe making the jump smash easier (quality of life) would make the game funnier
- changing the animation between K & L
- left and right click instead of K & L would have been great too
- having to install it is rough
- everything is great, sound, music, animation
- the tutorial is perfect !

Merci pour le feedback, oai les controls c'est vrai que c'est pas con de mettre les click aussi, les animations apres aussi ca serai cool (apres comme je suis solo et pas forcement super doué non plus en pixel art c'est compliqué mdr). Apres devoir l'installer malheureusement avec game maker t'es obligé de payer pour pouvoir créer des version executables e tj'ai pas forcement l'argent a investir dans la version payante pour le moment. Et pour le smash il est vraiment chelou si j'avais plus de temps je l'aurai clairement changer, ca et la balle qui des fois a un comportement un peu bizarre aussi.
En tout cas content que ca t'ai plus :)

This game is actually a tone of fun and I think more people should play it.
- Great audio
- Great visuals
- It is not too intuitive but if u do the tutorial and play for a minute you should understand it

Yeah the tutorial is essential to understand, the game really turned out way more complicated than I would like it to be lol
The visuals are very cool, but I could not even make it past the tutorial due to the controls.
It is practically impossible for me to press the spacebar followed by L quickly. (L and K should definetively be changed to something else. Maybe mouse buttons?)
I'm using WASD btw.
I don't think changing K and L to mouse buttons will change a lot of things since it's basically the same hand motion but on the mouse instead of the keyboard. I wanted to put controller inputs too but for some reason it didn't work and I couldn't figure out why I in time unfortunately :/
well, on my keyboard there is a loooong way between WASD, spacebar, and K and L.
idk using the left hand on WASD, SPACE and SHIFT and sing the right hand on K and L is pretty conviniant, pretty much like a standard FPS except using K and L instead of clicks
