Love the sound effects and the intense xylophone music!
The tempo of the game seemes fast at first, but then after a while it felt more natural.

It has a nice comondore64-vibe to it!

Only thing i wished for was some indication for when a pedestrian is on its way to becoming soaked, so you could anticipate it better.

Thank you guys for all the feedback! It seems that if you run this game on Chrome collision doesn't work very well making the game too easy :(

If the characters aren't getting soaked because of this I recommend trying it on another browser like Edge or Firefox!

My favorite music in the jam so far :)

Fun game and the visuals looked really nice.

It's a cool idea and a nice concept! I agree with what other people have said about the difficulty though, when I'd reached 40k I sort of gave up because I still had 0/5 soaked and no end in sight. :< But it's a very creative take on the theme! :D

The concept is very original and I like it a lot, the art style is also very simple and fitting the overall tone of the game (except for the fact that it was a bit hard to see falling rain, given its speed and color). The only complaint that I have is that the game is rather easy, since most of the characters move quite fast by themselves you don't really have to sweat it too much in order to save them from the rain. Anyway, good job!

Really cool unique take on the theme

Oh and here's my score!

Nice graphics and sound! Could have used just a little more sounds like footsteps when you walk, and maybe a slower walk with an option to hold shift to run. Just an idea. It was definitely too easy though, and the difficulty didn't seem to ramp up at all. I did love the little girl cheer, which was funny. I don't think it's even possible to get a diver wet though. I never once achieved it. I even had a moment where a slow walking diver made it all the way across being rained on the whole time (not a single umbrella holder in sight) and he didn't get wet. Other than that, overall very well done!

A very fun idea and very well executed! My only issue is that it's hard to when the citizen are going to get wet. Maybe some kind of "wet meter"? ^^

But well done!
