If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
The whole game is based around proving that it's not impossible to be a meatless burger!

Funny story! I included it in my compilation video series of the ‘So Bad It’s Good’ Jam, if you’d like to take a look. :)

A burguer-wannabe potato crusade with the music and mechanics of Katamari Damacy. Genius! Found the mouse control a bit complicated in the browser but your idea will give me inspiration for future games. Thanks!

Wow!  Clearly a lot of work put into this.  Great use of the modifier and nifty soundtrack.  The whole thing has the feeling like it's a dream someone had once.

Also I like how the Additional Information for Voters is "Shred on my dudes" and not "Shred on, my dudes" -- I'll be honest I don't know what either of those phrases mean but I imagine there's a marked difference.

This was fun, the two minute time limit reminded me of the early Tony Hawk's demos and friends and I trying to get high scores. It was nice to try to chart a route to collect the impossible after finding the letters, and looking for other goals. The theme was pretty interesting. Well done!

This game is weird, but in a good way. I loved the soundtrack.
The gameplay was a bit confusing and I had some issues with camera control, but I liked the level design, I was curious to look around and discover everything.

Great job on this one!

The updated version of THPS4 Secret Level on PS1 is becoming better! I can say that... "I'm so confused about what to do". Right up the jam!

So here I am, trying to put a review on it!

Graphics:
 - So much details, THE TEXTURES! WOW

Sound:
 - I've never felt that much HYPE on those SUPERMANS Songs! Good PUNKY vibe here!
 - Nice Slurpy Sound here :D

Gameplay:
 - OH WOW! Amazin TRICKS! Almost did my 900 to lefty boardslide first TRY! :O :O

Overall Bad:
 - I Wish I would be able to hellflip! (It's really BAD and great!)

Overall Good:  - Oof. hemm I don't know what to say! Better than THPS 5 for sure!

I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!

What I liked

Bizarre premise and concept

Ugly but detailed graphics with lots of things to cringe look at.

What I didn't like

I wish I had more time to explore; the time limit is really tight.

The camera controls are buggy and the game runs horribly. It might have been better as a desktop game rather than WebGL.

Did I think it was so bad it was good?

Absolutely.

My thoughts on the modifier implementation

One of the most unique and creative in the jam.

Other remarks

It took me a moment to figure out where the impossible burger thing came from. I don't think the Impossible Burger was ever sold in my country, and it's certainly been displaced by Beyond Meat and Lightlife since then.

Verdict

This is definitely one of the stranger entries but also one of the best ones in my mind. I love the bizarre, weird, twisted games that come out of SBIG Jam.

If you have any questions, comments, queries or concerns, please reply and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Appreciate the feedback! I did provide a downloadable .exe on the game page if you scroll down. However, I never really said that anywhere, so mybad on that.

Thanks for playing through it.

Huh, I thought I'd seen that earlier but when I went to try the game out I missed it completely. I might give it another shot later.

Really great job on this one! It has the perfect mix of jank yet fun gameplay, and a hilarious premise to see it through. Extremely difficult to a fault, but I had a great time nonetheless.

Graphics were good and gameplay was not easy though. Great work!!! Perfect for good bad Jam!!!!

Great graphics for a jam game! Very well lit... I wish there were more "skateboard" tricks, or just a jump button in general. But still fun!

Lots of fun, and a great OST! Where can I find it? The gameplay was a ton of fun to. I'd recommend smoothing over the geometry though, as it can be a little annoying sometimes.

Really awesome. How did you get the 3d graphics? Make em yourself or get them somewhere?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! All 3D models were done by Adrian Campos, one of the three members on our dev team!
