Really cool moody vibes in the exploration section. The percussion is great! The atonal guitar shred during the combat sequence is also way more impactful and cool than I'd have expected if I read it as sheet music! Great work!

Description
For the Cyberpunk theme, I decided to made a track in the spirit of the videogame
Perfect Dark. It has, like in the game, two parts: one for the "exploration" state and another one for the "combat".
I also wanted to try something by adding some electric guitar - more noise than guitar - in the style of Susumu Hirasawa
Not enough time to made everything perfect but hope you'll enjoy anyway!
The softwares now; I use Cubase as DAW, and Kontakt, Absynth 5, Guitar Rig 5, Action Strikes & Damage were used to made this track.
Message from the artist:
Hello! Happy to be back for a jam ^^
How does it fit the theme?
The track is inspired by the videogame "Perfect Dark" (futuristic/Cyberpunk theme) and, like in the game, has two parts: one for the "exploration" state and another one for the "combat".

This was pretty cool! Not really what I expected, but a nice change of pace from some of the more "in your face" entries. Well done!
Nice opening. Quite like the combination of the choirs, synth bass and oriental sounds. It reminds me of Making of the Cyborg (Ghost in the Shell) quite a bit. Both the percussive elements and the choirs. Not intended as criticism. It's great!
Woah, kicking it up a notch now. I guess we're going into a combat section. Enjoying the change of pace and the frantic drums. Really epic guitar there. Definitely conveys a feeling of danger to the battle. Great work!
Quite enjoyed this one. Both halves complemented each-other well. Liked the second half best because of that guitar.
Thanks a lot, I didn't expected that this guitar would be so appreciated!
The GITS part wasn't intended, I just put Japanese drums (love these sounds) with a choir (like I remembered the music in the Perfect Dark game), and later someone told me of the GITS opening. But yes, once it's mentionned it's quite obvious ^^
Whoa, those electric guitars are vile, I love it. So foreboding.
Loved how dynamic this track felt — lots of twists and turns!
Really enjoying the acoustic percussion with the choirs as a build up, that sets it up very nicely! A nice, cinematic feeling track!
Great cyberpunk vibes, nice choir. Love the increase in intense in the final third, those growling guitars are great! Nice work!
The guitar sounds so sick on this track, the combat state of this track sounds like something I'd hear from the band "have a nice life". This one is a standout for sure.
Feeling the Ghost In The Shell influence on the first part! The guitar part fits nicely for the more chaotic action part.
I really like the combat half, but the exploration one has some pretty cool sounds too.
I love the opening with those ethereal voices. (they sound great, what library is this?). Great effect with panning too, especially that thing that sounds like an insect buzzing around your head. I can hear the inspiration you drew from Perfect Dark. I do recognize the dataDyne logo, haha. Great buildup and very nice work!
I haven't played Perfect Dark but I kinda want to now. Your choir and drums are totally my style and you layered in the action section pretty seamlessly. Plus the guitar entrance is hype. Only part I didn't enjoy was the ear to ear buzzing because it sounds like a large insect flying around my head and I've been traumatized by hiking in main in mid-summer. Anyways, loved it :)
