Description
Two strangers share a mysterious fate after discovering that their contact has the power to reset time. The days fly by in this confusing reality, but every embrace seems to last forever.
Soundtrack style - Electro-pop with organic elements
Game genre - Mystery Thriller
Game title - Every Embrace
In this mystery thriller, players race around a cyberpunk dreamscape while gathering clues to unravel the mystery of their predicament.
The song "Every Embrace" has some sections which could be looped, but isn't planned to serve any specific purpose in the game. It's more like concept art.
I used Logic and bunch of synths and vst instruments, including some East West and Spitfire libraries. I also tried out Massive for the first time ever!

Message from the artist:
It's a sad melody but the song picks up into something more upbeat as it goes. Enjoy :)
How does it fit the theme?
It's not the hard gritty cyberpunk style, but rather the dreamy floaty kind - if that means anything.

This is awesome!
To me personally it doesn't sound that Cyberpunkish, but I can still see it being used in an amazing emotional movie or a show set in such a world. It sounds like a really cohesive and great part of a whole OST and really paints an image in my head. Great work!
I haven't had the time to listen to that many tracks so far, but I've been looking forward to yours ever since I saw the cover xD
And I have to say: Wow, I absolutely loved listening to your track, incredible that you made this in just 48 hours! If this was in a game, I would feel super involved and encouraged to explore and unravel the story. The piano intro feels so nostalgic and comforting but also kind of sad, which is really cool (even though I might be a bit biased because I'm a pianist and just love listening to piano stuff xD)
The rest of the track was super beautiful as well, can't even really describe the feeling of it because English isn't my first language... But anyways, great job on this submission, even though it wasn't what I would imagine as cyberpunk at first, it is one of my favourite entries this jam, which made me wonder: How long have you been making music for if you don't me asking?
Glad you listened! The cover was a big inspiration for me and I had it open in a window next to my DAW the whole time composing. I'm also a pianist so I opened my piano patch first to sketch ideas and couldn't help but keep the intro solo piano because I liked it too much.
I don't mind answering your question even though it makes me feel old heh. I wrote little songs on the piano when I was a kid, so something like 15 years. 10 years with an actual DAW, and then I bought my first midi keyboard like 3 years ago when I finally finished school and got free time back. Long answer, but I think those are pretty important milestones in the whole creative process.
I think you being a bit out of your element really helped this song bring more personality. Like always I really loved it and I think it fits very well in the Cyberpunk genre but not the kind people usually think of now that the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack is often seen as a leading style of Cyberpunk music. The orchestral elements work really well with the synths and the atmosphere you created is incredible, especially at the beginning when the other instruments accompany the piano. Amazing work!
I love that piano intro. Beautiful, and well layered with gentle synths. Also nice job working in a theme in different ways. Exceptionally well finished track!
Really cool track! I definitely got hints of “I Really Want To Stay At Your House” around 1:46, which fits with the Cyberpunk theme. :)
Love the little emotional breakdown section, great use of contrasting/complementary orchestral instruments and synths, really fun composition.
Great work!
This is a really beautiful piece, the piano line is really mellow while the synths add a bit of a foreboding feeling, and after a couple of hopeful sounding chords it gives you that fantastic brass section!
It sounds like the track tells a a great story which I’d love to see realized on a screen!
Very, very pretty. Maybe a little too pretty to feel like "true" cyberpunk, but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. Also probably the best symbiosis of classical and electronic instruments I've heard in this contest so far. Overall, very well done.
BTW, did you paint the cover art yourself? It's beautiful!
There’s a type of composition where you kind of know what’s coming before it lands, and getting that to hit with a “Yes!” rather than an “ugh” is extremely difficult. But every one of them does in this. Excellently-judged introduction of horns towards the end. And so nice to have an entry that’s so insistently bright and optimistic.
Unique take on cyberpunk, that piano is beautiful, what library is it? Great quality and composition throughout. Love the premise as well! Amazing work as always!
Wow. This is so well done. It opens with a beautiful moment of tranquility. Beautiful chords too. Getting to the part where the pace is slowly moving up. Excellent mix and sound design. Oh and those horns. Lovely! I can just see this couple running down a crowded street together and the camera slowly panning upwards to follow where they are going. It's so beautiful. And those lovely string and violin flourishes too. It's like one of the characters is the violin and the other is the string and they just interweave so perfectly.
Masterful. I'm thoroughly impressed.
Waw this is beautiful, I absolutely loved it! Masterful composition, choice of instruments, and mix. The piece has a very hopeful momentum to it and the dynamics keeps you hooked during the entire track. Very very very impressive mix of orchestral and electronic instruments!
Stellar work!
