This was really fun, amazing job. Everything about the aesthetic nailed that retro arcade aesthetic, and the leaderboard was a great touch (Side note, I can't believe that someone lasted almost 40 minutes, that's insane!)
Great juicy gameplay, solid controls, and I loved chaining my attacks together with the AOE cannon. Amazing work!

That was amazing. Kind of game I'd play with my morning coffee.
Incredibly polished, intuitive, and easy to pick up and get used to the controls. The SFX and Graphics are spot on.
I noticed a comment about the pacing, how it starts easy and then overwhelms you all of sudden. I had the same thought. But it could also be upgrade-dependent. Anyhow, wonderful game, wonderful job!
5/5
Yes, yes yes ! A super efficient and fun concept, got me playing way more than i expected x)
Your team did a very good job in graphics and music, everything fits perfectly together. Also i'm a huge fan of Vampire Survivor so i could not dislike your game
The best entry i've played so far, congrats to your team !
Wow, well done. Amazing concept, the art, sounds and graphics are out of this world . Personally I felt there was a bit too much screen shake.
This game is an absolute banger !
The gameplay is easy to pick-up & very nervous. Loved the visuals & effects. Sound design on point. Screen shakes, flashs & all you need for some good juice.
My only little feedback is I would have gone with a more nervous soundtrack to fit with the frenetic shooting going on. But that's more a matter of taste & this one also fit pretty well.
edit : Just realized now. It sounds like there's different soundtracks, right? That's awesome... you can disregard my previous feedback
edit 2 : I aced it... ^^ managed to get so overpowered that I could just sit in the middle & wait without doing anything. You should maybe consider adding a cap on the bonuses so that you cant really get overpowered. or maybe just a maximum level (maybe around 20) so that the game stay challenging.
I had a great time playing this one.
Great work ! :)
One of the coolest games in this jam, this would win if it was up to me to decide <3

Amazing game! The twist you took from Vampire Survivors is genius! It all comes together perfectly, Good job!
Woooowww. I love the game. it's really interesting. music is great, control and implementation is great and art is great too! I think adding a fullscreen button in browser version will be a good idea since the game window doesn't fit in my screen and I should zoom out in the browser!
Oops, Earth is gone! I like the old-school TV style. 16bit looking games are rare these days. Most people go for 8 bit. And, ha! you type your name in the game - so no 100% mouse controls! :P
Just joking, it's a simple game but I like it!
Great Game, especially in the sound and graphics department, but gameplay is pretty fun too, besides the pacing (being pretty easy for a (to) long time and then overwhelming you all of the sudden), but, I mean, its a jam game . Aspect ratio of the web build is to high though. Couldn't get everything on screen.
PS: I forgot a small bit of feedback: the stars you can pick up to get upgrades could stand out a bit more.
PS2: Played through it a second time and I take back the pacing complaint. I think it had to do with the upgrades I took. Also the game is way more fun with the ion blast. Maybe you should have that from the start?
I think it depends strongly on the upgrades you get. My second playthrough went very differently and was more fun and satisfying because I had the ion blast (see second edit of my comment) and, I mean, it has to end at some point. Maybe there could be some sort of ending or something, so it doesn't feel like the game gets unfair at the end or something, but that would probably be out of the scope of a jam. Regardless, an outstanding game (with the ion blast ;)).
Great game overall. Sounds and music gives off a really nice vibe. They allow you to feel the atmosphere of this game :D
Wow, fantastic game. It has great juice in it's visual effects, and it makes everything feel so impactful. Solid gameplay loop and very addicting. I had a lot of fun playing this, great job!
Awesome game, very polished AND addictive! Was this inspired from Vampire Survivors? The XP and upgrades just work and make the game very fun.
Really polished and well made game! I survived for 12 mins tho
Visuals and Audio are incredible! Keen use of the limitation, the game controls really well.
The game needed to be downloaded in order to play it correctly. The resolution doesn't conform well in a browser, the top and bottom get cut off. Downloading works perfectly though.
Overall really well done!
