Another great game.

It would better if the shuriken can pierce 1-3 snakes at the same time for a bit more of a surprise for us players!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and for feedback!

Really cool. The only thing i have to critique is, that it was getting really hard quite fast.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

OMG! Great idea! Even if it was not yours, The implementation of it is great! Great scenario you made too.

Developer

Thank you, I really appreciate that! I'm not familiar with any game that uses this exact mechanic, but it's highly possible that they exist. Anyhow, very grateful for your kind words!

Interesting mechanics. It reminds me of Batman’s remote-controlled batarang in another game. It’s a bit difficult but very interesting.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it. As someone who grew up with Batman games, I'm sure I was influenced a bit:D

Good looking game, the limited color palette and pixel art style really work well together. Like others said, using the scroll wheel to recall the Shuriken takes a while to get used to.

Developer

Yeah, I didn't account for people using the same finger for LMB and MWheel. That's definitely on me. As I mentioned in some other comments, this should have been a choice for the player.

Thank you for playing!

I really liked the game concept, I think I would have much preferred the recall button being on right click! Overall it was fun!

Developer

You and many more, regarding the right click :D. Definitely should have been a choice for the player.
Thank you for playing!

Game was very good looking and the sound design was on point.  Cool concept.  It was definitely made more difficult with the mouse wheel being the "recall" button.  My old fingers couldn't make them come back fast enough and I died....a lot lol.   Really cool game though!

Developer

As many agreed with the mouse wheel control, so do I :D Definitely should have made it optional to switch between RMB and MWheel.
Thank you for playing!

Cool game.

The idea is simple but efficient & fun. A bit too hard maybe ? I think the game would more enjoyable with a few less ennemies or maybe making them slower ?

I kinda feel that the right click would have been better than the scroll wheel to call back the stars so that you can use 2 fingers and be more efficient (most people will have the reflex to use the same finger for both left click and scroll)

All in all, it's a cool prototype. with a few adjustement it can be a really fun play to tryhard a high score.

Good job :)

Developer

My two main takeaways after reading reviews are:
1. Should have made a bonus option for right-click shuriken return;
2. Should have made it a bit easier.

I fell into the developer's pit where I find the game easy after replaying it hundreds of times, and also going way too subjective and limiting with the controls.

Overall, all you said is 100% correct, and thank you so much for playing and taking the time to comment!

I like the gameplay and concept but Im not a pro gamer like others lol. Overall the game is great! 4/5 from me

Glad you liked it! I was wondering if it's maybe too difficult, but couldn't decide since I've gotten used to it over time. Unfortunately didn't have time to do more testing before releasing it.
Thank you for playing!
