The graphics are pretty simple but the attack animations are super smooth, didn't think I'd rank graphics that high when starting the game, that was a pleasant surprise :) The cost system could be made much more understandable with additional UI, and I think you could also make some tokens spawn on the map for extra risk/reward. The game and idea as a whole look great, keep it up!

Amazing game, that is both really beautiful and with a lot of different things to see!
However, the cost system is unclear, and the missiles coupled with extra guns are clearly the best option 100% of the time.
The art is minimalist, but stunningly beautiful, with a lot of colourful varied and readable bullet patterns. Bonus points for having the bullet be in negative when overlapping for clarity and aesthetics, but the exploding bullets would have benefited from a different shape to prepare the player.
The main menu is a bit overlapping, there is no sound, and it's a shame there is no player damage / lose condition... but it's a jam, so it's to be expected with the massive work you've put everywhere else.

An overall great idea that could be really interesting to develop, and an amazing jam entry!

The animations are a pleasure to watch and the game has a great sense of style. It's a real shame there wasn't time to add player damage or this would have been a really strong entry.

As always, I'm impressed with the number of bullets you can get on screen without even a hitch in framerate and this game delivers on that.

Usually bullet hells which do this end up being very cluttered and it honestly becomes hard to see what's going on but to your game's credit, the simple visual style and colour pallete made things very easy to discern and it looks really cool as a result

I really wish the player could take damage. Would have made the game a lot more fun and definitely one of the best XD. None the less, you have a solid game here man. All it needs is player damage. Great job overall :)

I really like the visual style. The simplicity makes it easy to focus on what is happening.

The concept has a lot of potential. Placed in a rogue-like game it could be awesome :D It's too bad you did'nt have time to fix the bugs but, hey, you can make a post jam version :D

That was quite a bit of fun! The weapons were satisfying to look and watch fire. This is definitely an idea thats worth expanding on post jam.

The look of the weapons it's amazing! A bit hard to avoid touhg!

Nice game. It would have been cool if you could acttually finish it... Oh well sometimes this things happen

Visually stunning!

The concept and the attacks are so cool ! I suck at dodging bullet hell so it's good for me that the player doesn't take damage ;). Too bad you didn't have time to finish it and also add some sounds.

Good job !

The art style animation were all very nice and the concept was there. Really wish we could have all seen where this ended up but glad you went with it anyway. Props.

Great visuals! So sad that the player can´t get damaged! Would love an updated version after the jam!

The idea and the artstyle are just brilliant. It's a shame you cant take dmg from the boss. I think the boss' attacks are basicaly mp4 s and not real bullets. So yeah , its cool! GJ m8

Reminds me a lot of the game Beats & Shapes. Interesting idea, the visuals are simple but attractive to look at.

I liked the animations, and the rockets firing, it was satisfying to look at.

Even though there were a ton of glitches and no music or sound, I think combining turn based and bullet hell is a really good idea. Just saying, even if the player did take damage, I think there was a little too many bullets. Also if you were to come back, a heart system would fit perfectly.

Developer

thanks! I'm glad you think it was a good idea ☺️ I'd quite like to come back to it to be honest.

I didn't have enough time to balance it, unfortunately! There is a lot of tweaking to be done. A heart system is exactly how I imagined health working - I just didn't have the time 😂

Yea it usually goes like that XD, maybe spend a little less time on the graphics, usually I like to get the core game then the graphics.

Developer

I actually spent no time at all on graphics - they are literally just squares, the bullets are circles with squares below them, colours were picked pretty much at random and the rockets took maybe 10 minutes 😂 it's just simple shapes plus a bit of bloom!

Oh yea true XD, whoops

Couldn't hear any sound or music. Maybe in the menu.

Can't take damage, so it doesn't matter if you dodge.

Animations are lovely.

Extra weapons only fire once when you go for the standard attack.

Developer

thanks for the feedback! Yeah time ended up being really tight, so I didn't have time for audio and there are a few bugs 😬 I'm glad you liked the animation though!
