At least we learned a lot in the process. Including the importance of finding your audience and letting them know you exist.

100% will happen! Though as a small time dev we have to finish ironing out the bugs on 1 platform before the next, and rip out the Steam dependencies from our build. Hoping to have good news in time for Spooky season!

2020 was a weird year for us all, but it got me focused on what was important and what I really enjoyed doing. Thanks #GodotEngine you made our #gamedev journey possible.

Please continue work on this! I need this on my Android phone.

That you took the time to do this play through kinda made my day.

Only got 1300 ish. This was so fun!

This was a fun romp! Music and style were excellent. Loved the robot moving your hand at the end when I failed. Simple gameplay but fun and stylish.

This was just really well done, jam game or not. A good basis for something that could be alot of fun if you expand it out which you definitely should.

I also got stuck in the pit on level 2 and couldn't figure out a way out, but other than that really liked it. Reminded me alot of Metroid 2 the return of samus.

Great execution and use of assets! The game was alot of fun, really thematic, and I was actually left wanting more in every area, a great sign for a jam game! Makes me want to try a side scrolling beat em up for my next project.

Impressive 1 day  submission! A really satisfying gameplay loop, that kept me engaged the whole time. More feedback (audio sfx) when you place things and visual queues for where you can place things (some sort of range indicator) would have helped.

Forgot to check that option! Thanks for the heads up.

There is alot to unpack here, and some game breaking bugs hurt the overall project, but I REALLY like the theme you're exploring here. Its something we can all relate too, and I think the mini games to a good job of evoking the title.

Strong message and GREAT art direction, but a lack of choice made it a bit dull as a game went. Sound effects were right on point, and the end caught me off guard in a good way.

Lots of charm, but I had alot of issues controlling the snake unfortunately. My mouse didn't lock in the screen, so turning was hard, and sometimes the snake would skid off super fast like it was on ice. Still alot of character and you even had time to let me customize the snake a bit which was a great touch.

With a bit more polish, this would be a pretty great game to have on my phone during down time. Music was great and gameplay was simple but addictive.

No issue loading up the web version. I had quite a bit of fun playing around and loved the creature design. Real great throw back that would be awesome to see expanded on.

Definitely more fun on mobile than with a mouse, and I think some sound effects would really have made it feel more complete, and some screen shake perhaps? A game like this definitely lives on its polish and ‘juice’.

First go Godot user!

Now... Wow. You always hope when you're competing in a Jam that you can really make a complete package, but usually you can see where things got cut, or the whole thing becomes something of a proof of concept. But this really did feel like a  complete package.

I think I died on melody 6 about five or six times before I finished it, but it really felt like a proper 'boss' fight song, and is stuck in my head now. Lots of fun, and super impressive it was done in 72 hours. Really glad I played it.

Huh this one was pretty fun! I really like the mechanics and could easily see you building on them for deeper more engaging play.

A little more feedback on opening the doors would be nice, audio or screen shake perhaps, I sort of accidently realized that was how you progress. It was pretty tough too, I think both the enemies and you could stand to be a bit slower.

But I really liked this! Great music, atmosphere, mechanics, and adherence to the theme. Bravo!

I was not expecting that to happen to the people when they pestered the tiger too much, lol!

Weirdly addictive. I wish there were some power ups to grab too, but I played this game was exactly what I needed after ld48 submission.

A few things. This has a ton of potential and is pretty fun when you get the hang of it. Style, sound, and feel is pretty good. I played with an xbox controller and would occasionally end up not facing the way I expected after I stopped to turn and fire red. Took me awhile to figure out how to refill mana, but when I started to get upgrades the whole thing really started coming together. Overall an easy like and good entry!

Looks fun, can't wait to dig in. Here's mine!

Impressive given your time constraints. I'd really like to see where it goes. Gave me some serious original battle toad vibes.

There is ALOT to like here, but oft4en when I died it felt like it was because I didn't have a good grasp of where my piece was in space, rather then not reacting fast enough or making a bad decision.  But a really good mash up, and one of the most creative 'tetris likes' I've come across yet.

A great entry for typing games! I only wish for this jam that the difficulty increased a little faster. The nuke was a fun addition to the formula.

This was really a mesmerizing but difficult experience. An easy recommendation for people who want to try a really fun mash up!

Controls are definitely the biggest issue though. The coordination requirement is pretty high lol. I think making 'rotate' bound to up would go a long way in helping, as I kept instinctually trying to do that. I was also almost never able to dodge the snail drops, and would love them to be a bit smaller lol.

Despite that the game was quite fun, and I'm really curious if you see room for future growth with it.

This is a good mash up! So many directions you can take it from here... would you envision being able to shoot enemies and/or friendlies? Goals at different heights worth different points would be alot of fun too! Definitely a great start.

Wow, this may be my favorite rhythm game of the Jam so far!

Is it weird to say I just sort of stared at the intro page for awhile?

Timing is pretty perfect. Tutorial was great. It was definitely a bit overwhelming at times, but it sort of should be.

Literally my only complaint would be different difficulty levels, but thats SO impossible during a Jam its almost ridiculous to bring it up.

Add some more songs, more 'juice', and a leader board and you got something real special here!  Wasn't the greatest performance but below is my Threat Incoming score!

Presentation and art direction were striking. Wish there were some checkpoints but otherwise what I saw was really fun.

Wow, what a package this was. I did get stuck unfortunately, getting caught on a corner where it didn't count as ground, so I couldn't reload, but was also out of shots so just had to restart.

Despite that this was a real treat.

More fun than you probably give it credit for. The music was a bit tedious, but the gameplay was fun, despite the simple presentation. I liked it.

That was quite a bit of fun! The weapons were satisfying to look and watch fire. This is definitely an idea thats worth expanding on post jam.

My only real complaint is a game like this deserves tighter platforming controls. The mechanic was so fun to experiment with I'd often use it even when jumping was CLEARLY the better course of action. I also maybe tried to explore some stages too much, but that just shows the level design was fun. Keep up the good work.

I liked the style and humor. I wish I could have changed the camera a bit, but it was a fun game to play through.

Needs a sense of speed, but a fun play with good 'juice' to the action.

So ambitious! The visual were a bit cluttered at times though, the ships didn't contrast that well against the background. Very fun play!

Unexpectadly fun, and a really good mashup of typing and city building! I really enjoyed my play through.
