Yeah, good visuals. You have to team up with some strong programmers
and spend energy on graphics. Unless you're here only to learn/
Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I have teamed up with multiple people previously on projects however I'm here to learn and this is just ahobby for me.
Game jams limit you on time so what I have is the best I can do with time/life/experience.
As long as I learn 1 new thing each game jam I am happy.

This one is a very beautiful isometric game and puzzles seems fun!

Submitted

The art looks very very good, like a polished game! The gameplay was fun, and great health visualization in the actual character. Great work :)

Submitted

incredible visuals and style, really good

Submitted

Impressive style and graphics.

Submitted

absolutely amazing presentation but it felt rather short

Submitted

The presentation of this game is amazing probably the best I have seen so far throughout this jam

Submitted

The presentation is really good! Some instructions were not clear just from reading but the gameplay is great. Don't worry about the bug ;)

Submitted

men, the graphics are outstanding

Submitted(+1)

Really good game, the art style feels really polished and the concept is good. It's maybe just a little too short, I would love to play more !

Developer

Thank you Polish is the only thing I put at the top of my goals for each game jam so its wonderful hearing that as the number 1 thing being praised. That said, you are correct its very short and I too would have loved to put more in If there was more time. I have fixed a bug though so the rods work correctly and so I can include the scrapped stage that was removed because of it. :) Thanks for playing.

This game is amazing. The art is great and it feels like a complete game. I just wish I could play without the bug, because I completed all levels in under 10 seconds. I want to play more! Good job.

Developer

That is quite te compliment! Sadly the game is so bugged that you could speed run it :D 10seconds sounds about right! :D I have fixed the bug in a new iteration so should be able to push an update with an extra stage that was ripped out due to the bug :)

Amazing polish and a cool mechanic :)

I could have done with a restart button because I got myself trapped and just had to meander around until I died a few times; but a lot of fun was had, so!

Developer

Oh No, I didn't experience any getting trapped, In my playthroughs I experienced losing either the battery or the rod which I return to you if you fall of the edge. Apologies I will include a restart button in the next update. Next update includes the rod fix an additional stage that was cut due to rod issues.

Submitted(+1)

I … didn’t think about jumping off the edge! It was losing the rod that got me trapped :D

Developer

Haha well it would be odd to ask people to jump off the edge to reset.. it was just a precaution :'D Are you able to describe how you got trapped? Now I am genuinely curious what could have happened :D

Submitted

I found that if I let go of the rod I couldn’t pick it back up again, and that meant I was trapped in the level until I ran out of power.

Developer(+1)

Oh yknow you can push them into place, the pop up tutorial when you get the rods explains that :D

Submitted(+1)

this one will definitely win

Developer

Aw thank you that's really nice to hear but there are far better submissions than mine that I feel are more deserving of a 'win'. Many thanks tho :)

Submitted(+1)

Wow. Great game! It's a really fun concept that reminds me a bit about a mechanic from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles :D

Developer

Aw thank you! ~ Was that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time? I just looked it up on youtube it looks really fun!!

Submitted(+1)

Really love the art style, very polished submission. I think limiting movement in such a way may fit logic game well, if it is part of the solution. Like you have to think, where and when to move to solve the solution.

Developer(+1)

Thank you I am really happy you understand where the concept was heading and how it could have been better. Thank you for your time I really appreciate it! :)

The polishing, style, art, logo, everything is incredible. Jaw dropping. Did you follow 4:44? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPyYZjCQ0Is

Developer

Lol Thank you! I had not seen this video before so wasn't aware of '4:44', but I would agree my workflow does follow something very similiar.

I have mixed feelings about this, did you really make this in under 3 days? This game looks amazing, but the limitation idea is a little too simple

Developer

Thanks for your time playing, I get that comment a lot about people being impressed about me being able to produce games quickly, the stuff that looks impressive and polished is the art and doesn't take me very long.. Mechanically is where this game fails to really be anything substantial.. The core mechanic is broken due to trying to bug fix and not spending enough time building upon my original idea which was when you move your life drains, the battery also drains when you use it to power things and regain your hp.. Enemies would rush your battery and so defending the battery was the only way to ensure you had enough life in your battery to carry you through your journey.

Thanks for playing!

I really doubt you made this within the time limit, only because its AMAZING! So well made can't wait to see your next works of art...

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing my game, if you have any doubt the files can be checked for integrity. This is not my first game jam and so I have become very efficient at making games.. Or should I say polished art demos. Most my games lack a lot gameplay or mechanics. This game suffers with a lot of issues sadly.

Submitted(+1)

Yea, however that doesnt change the fact that you are very talented, instead of doing jams for fun, maybe start working on larger scale projects and make a living!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Sadly I am not very good to work on larger scale projects as I dont fully understand many concepts fully and need to learn more C# coding basics ( personal opinion based on this weekend gone by ) I struggled and wasted a lot of time during the weekend gettings the rods working only for them to be fully broken in the webGL version.. I dont even know why they arn't working properly lol. I have always been more of a polished visuals kinda of developer than anything else.

Honestely thank you so much for taking the time to play my little game :)

Submitted(+1)

you dont necessarily need to use c#, on the asset store, there is a (I believe to be) free package with visual blueprint scripting which many people use, its ok if c# isnt your strong suite, you can star with that and then later you can join up with someone or a team. Personally, I am learning and enjoy all aspects so im not really ready for a team yet. Either way... good luck on your career/journey.

Developer(+1)

Ah thanks :) I Reguarly collaborate with many friends I have made through these game james. I do enjoy pushing myself in these gamejams tho as it forces me to try an improve. :) Will check out your game later when I am not at work :)
