Cool game, was actually very fun! Love the concept of dodging your own bullets.

Developer

Happy you enjoyed our game!!

Submitted(+1)

Cool music, your game is nice, congratulations.

Developer

Thanks! The music was made a little bit before we finished the game so I'm happy you liked it!

Submitted(+1)

Very good game!

The only things I'd say I didn't like were the amount of screen shake, it feels a bit jarring, and the fact that only the crosshair shows the bullets you can shoot, and there's no other way to know if you can shoot, but those are pretty much preference anyways.

Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback ! The crosshair goes from a desaturated red to a green, then you can shoot, we tried having something like a bar or a round thing around the player but we ended up using the crosshair-

nice game i like it , maybe use ui to know how many bullets you have and to know where the bullets came

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback ! We plan on updating the game post-jam, at least to get rid of bugs, but we might add some other stuff too!

Submitted(+2)

Excellent use of limitation and nice art design too! A counter for how many robots are left would have definitely been helpful, though at the same time the suspense of not knowing is part of the experience. Destroying the robots felt satisfying too. Well done!

Developer

The white robots and aren't your classical enemies, they don't cause you too many problems if you bump them

Thanks for the feedback and the compliment!

I like your interpretation of the limitation. You can literally feel it, when the bullet you shoot into the enemy in front of you is dodging right back into your face :-P Great game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah- that happened to me more times that I thought xD

Submitted

We submitted a Clean 'Em Up entry btw. Would like to hear what you think about it. Bullets dont dodge in our game, actually you dont even shoot with bullets. Ah, just check it out if you like, and you will see... ;-)

Love the UI and the effects of the paint spreading! Feels like the core loop has been polished and refined and it's got a lot of replayability for that reason!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback Ahron! We spent a good part of day 1 just adding effects and polishing to make the game feel nice to play

Perfect game so far!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Hello! Cool game.

The GD is great by forcing the player to shoot at least once thanks to the enemies.

I don't have more to say, keep doing games!

Developer

Thank you! we do plan to do more jams in the future :3

Submitted(+2)

Nice concept! Sadly can't play it rn..

Developer

Im glad you think its cool! hopefully you enjoy the game when you get to play it : )

Thanks!

What a cute game, and such a nice concept for a story!! The overthrow of the Grey Company is imminent as we shoot up the world with color trails by missile! I loved the pixel art, the upbeat music, the color-changing cursor, and the way the little colorless robots moved! The screen shake also added a really nice effect for us to visually measure the raw  p o w e r  of the armaments we wield, very well thought out! ^^

I hope you got tons of emotional support during the making of this game, hehe~

Developer(+1)

Very happy you enjoyed it & liked the story! Lemmy was providing tons of emotional support around the end to help get the game out :3

This game is amazing !

I like the game mechanism that uses bullets to advance the process and avoid being killed by myself.

A group of white robots surrounded me like my fans and blocked bullets for me, which made me laugh.

Developer(+1)

Really glad you enjoyed the game!

Submitted(+2)

this is sooooo fun, it hooked me up and i was trying to kill multiple enemies with a single shot. great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback!

I felt like the other robots were there to protect me, my real enemy was the chaos I myself provoked with my bullets. The implementation of the limitation was perfect. There are 2 options I can think of to fix the big map/surprise-misile problem, you could either zoom out the camera or you could somehow hint that a misile outside of view is comming. All in all really cool submission, I enjoyed it, you definetely should keep working on this.

Developer(+2)

Me and the dev (@Minimg) had a lot of fun making this game and I do see us working on it more (at least to fix those nasty bugs...), thanks for the proposition about how to fix the camera issue ^^
Thanks for your feedback!

I really liked this! The rockets being how to speed up your winning of each level but also being your downfall was a cool idea. I wasn't sure what the robots did besides push you though, and then also each time I died I was able to just sit and wait for the rockets to finish the percentage and it'd still bring me to the next level. Other than that it looked great and was fun!

Developer

Yep, we're aware of that issue but we ran out of time to bugfix the game before submitting it, we'd hope playing the game would feel better than just waiting there for the numbers to go up, enemies aren't supposed to hurt you-

Thanks for the feedback tho-

Submitted

Haha true about playing over winning! I'm just too much of a PRO gamer to take a fat L home to my wife and kids. Are the enemies there to more just obstruct your path causing the rockets to hit you?

Submitted(+2)

The concept is fun, and you made the rocket really feel destructive, which was a nice touch. The screen shake was way too much for me. The whole screen constantly shaking was headache-inducing. Maybe only screen shake a little when the rocket hits. Or have an option to turn it off. Cute and fun game though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Will be sure to add a way to toggle the screen shake in a post jam build :3

Developer

Thanks for compliment about the art ^^

Submitted(+2)

This game is absolutely amazing! Good music, great artstyle and very fun gameplay! Congrats! :D

Also I finally bought some cookies today I'm willing to share :)

Developer

Thanks for the wonderful feedback!

Cookies :0 I dunno if sharing via wifi is possible yet- but put one aside for me if you can figure out how to do that :3

I think this game is going to win lol. Everything was very well done! the art, music, sfx and gameplay was all really good!

I wish I could see the full screen tho. Rather than dodging the missiles it more of felt like a surprise attack.  But godd job! very well made game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the Feedback TwoHorns! I hope we at least place top 5 ^^'

This was really fun to make with Minimg, I really digged it! I hope your game places well too!

Did submit so cant rate but:

really awesome entry! was a very awesome take on the limit, and it lead to some pretty chaotic stuff. Well done.

The little leaning the character does while moving is perfect and it really does feel like a robot with one wheel. Well done

A few things I defiantly would have liked to see tho

I wish the camera was zoomed out. This is essentially a bullet hell where you make the bullets (a very clever twist) but I felt like 80% of my deaths were from offscreen bullets. Plus I feel seeing more of the map would have lead to more a satisfying "look at all these bullets!" sort of vibe. Plus seeing how painted more of the map is would nice. I think this game would have been a great candidate for having a stationary camera that views the whole level actually.

Only other criticism for me is that I didn't realize the other robots weren't enemies until the last level haha. I was doing my best to avoid them thinking touching them would be death. In the last level when I found out they were friendly I used them as shields. Maybe if they didnt chase the player down they would have seem friendly faster? just a thought.

But yeah those two nitpicks aside great work, Juicy and Fun. The ending credits were very charming as well!

Great job yall!

Developer(+1)

Ay! happy you could give our game a go Prinny, no worries about not rating ^^

The Camera is an issue that's been brought up multiples times and we might fix it in a post-jam update :3

Submitted(+1)

Really cool game! i like it a lot, was a little hard to dodge the bullets because the little vision you have but i continue playing cause was really fun.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! The camera issue has been brought up a lot of time so might fix that in an update post-jam!
