Very nice artstyle. Cool to have included a cinematic as well. Maybe a bit of a hint on where to go would have been nice, though at the same time figuring it out for yourself is part of the fun

Nice! I got pretty lucky at some of the later levels ngl! Starts out simple but gets pretty complex

My score was 20!

Keep doing what you're doing!

Pretty cool. For me the biggest hook was wanting to complete the fish journal

Crazy good! I'm assuming its only a matter of time before yall get massive traction coming your way. Only thing I had a slight issue with was the sail part near the end but I figured it out.  Really awesome work on this.

Thanks and one more question, is your windows 64 bit or 32 bit?

Nice idea to start out the level with a mini-maze, well done!

Very cool shooting mechanic, nice work!

I liked the way you utilized assets to create your level, well done!

I liked the presence of enemy characters in your level, haven't seen that in any other submissions. Good work!

I liked the farm themed take on the jam, good job!

i liked the effort put in to enclose the obstacle course in walls, good job!

nice element of variety with the coin collecting! I also appreciate you taking the time to set up checkpoints

very cool idea to have the course be procedurally generated! I think I almost made it to the top but missed one of the thinner platforms and fell back. good job

I was hoping for this approach, thank you

hmm interesting, I'm definitely was not getting those kinds of crashes when I tested it. Are you on windows 10 or 11?

Pretty unique to combine break with jump. Cool idea!

Visually its looks really good.

Sorry about the nausea! The colors were chosen to accompany the fact that Coots is having a bad dream, being chased by a big red ball of yarn. How did you feel about the gameplay itself? Thanks for checking out the game and once again sorry it made you nauseous .

Thank you!

I know this was supposed to be dramatic but I couldn't help laugh at the idea of Coots being so ruthless lol (its like a dark comedy, very unique). Very good job complementing the premise with visuals. The gameplay was pretty fair too, maybe there could have been more of a wind up to his attack so player could react better to it, but I liked the challenge tbh. Well done!

Ya I'm also drawn to these types of games cause of how unique the gameplay is. Thanks for checking it out! By any chance do you remember exactly what you were doing and how long you were playing for when you got the crash? Once again thanks.

When I first got the idea for this game, I actually had no idea about super monkey ball. I only found out about it when I was already working on it! I believe the idea actually came from Neverball (a game I played very briefly when I was much younger and forgot the name off until much later when I stumbled on it after finding out about super monkey ball). I definitely have an affinity for those kinds of games. Thanks for playing.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Very unique idea for a game. It took me a while to realize there are several types of punches you could do after messing around with the controls a bit, tutorial is definitely a good idea. And I loved the premise/story of the game and the visual way in which you told it, really great work there!

Really nice artwork! Shadow coots was definitely the harder thing to avoid but its doable if you pay attention.  And the recipe actually looked like it used realistic proportions of ingredients so nice detail there. Well done!

Very unique and fun gameplay! It made me think of billiards (how you have to strategize which ball to hit so they are placed harmoniously next to each other and relative to where the enemies are). Visuals are very nice and compliment the gameplay well. Awesome work!

Very diverse and simple to understand minigames. My favorite one was the ship pulling. Cute visuals too. Good work!

I'm trying to play it but when I click Start Game, there is a new screen (youtube layout) and its just frozen.  I'm on an older machine that's probably why. Props for including multiple languages though.

Impressive visuals for an ascii game! The gameplay has a lot more going on than I initially thought. Very nice degree of polish too, like with vfx during attacks. Good work!

Visuals are really good. I liked the that you could interact with so many objects. Solid work!

I like the premise of Coots trying to escape his testing facility, though when I played, most of the lights turned off 1 minute in playing and I couldn't see. Hope you guys get it fixed!

Neat idea. You can maybe expand on this by having a delayed dash mechanic too. Maybe even a delayed dodge (maybe for projectiles of some kind), lots of possibilities. Nice work!

Very original idea! The vertical pipes with the cat toggles definitely add a lot more strategy to the game. Visuals are coherent with the game style too, good work!
