the lasers were crazy and a fun mechanic. someone already mentioned it but I ended up not needing to use the lasers at all since the enemies don't attack but overall I liked the idea
Really interesting game, The laser mechanic has a ton of potential, Not in something like this, but i think you could 100% use the laser idea in a different style of game!
The art was also nice : ) cool game!
Yeah, I just wanted to make lasers. I didn't have the time to make them all different colors, but I enjoyed making them. Thank you for testing my game!
I really enjoyed this game. I think you could made it a little bit longer, and also I might have found a bug. When I activate the lasers with RMB, they won't rotate. Not sure if this was an intended feature or not, but the controls description do not say anything about the RMB, only LMB. Overall, you did a good job!
Thank you for playing it and finding a bug. RMB was not intended, I will look into this. I'll keep working on a variation of this game.
Your team found a good mechanic for the Jams limitation. I was roasting my character almost completely before I arrived at the top. Also the laser effect is amazing! Good job!
Thank you for your review, the whole budget went into the laser indeed, so I'm glad you liked it
Was interesting to see the enemies shoot whenever I did, super cool implementation of you are your own enemy. Love the look of the lasers glow. Was fun but noticed some performance set backs when playing unsure of what caused them. I'd love to give the game another try in the future was fun to play!r
Hey, thank you for playing. I will look into the performance setbacks, it is probably due to me doing something dumb honestly. (It might be all the laser particles shooting at the same time in the whole scenario)
Cool use of the limitation! Attacking has the chance to hurt you, but you are forced (or, I assume that needs to be the case) to attack enemies, which is good.
I did find a bug - the enemies don't seem to harm you, which gives the player the option to just not shoot at all. When I did shoot, it was sometimes a little unclear if I would be hit by unseen drones, which felt a bit unfair at times. You do have enough health to compensate for those moments, though!
The lab setting you have created is also quite nice!
Hey, thank you for playing. Yeah, the enemies were never meant to be enemies, why would you laser a dog??
(thats a checky lie, in reality I only had 24 hours for making the game and didn't implement stuff such as enemy damage and drone collision)
Again, thank you for testing the game!
