How was your experience with Mini Jam?
First jam, very fun but it's 4am I want to sleep now
Comments
It's fun and certainly deserves more work on the graphical side! Well done!
Fun game! The art is great, and being a hermit crab that shoots freakin’ laser beams is as awesome as it sounds.
Took me a second to get going, but the idea is pretty cool. It is very hard at the start though, needs to start up a bit easier and then ramp up!
I can't seem to reach the 100 mark, the collisions with the shells are rather finnicky. :|
It was still a fun experience though!
High score 271! Fun game. I agree with others that the difficulty is a bit much at the start, but if you stick with it for several rounds it gets better. Good job! :)
Interesting concept, but I think the game is too hard right at the start, there is no time to get used to the controls. Maybe tone it down a little bit and scale the difficulty with time.
I persisted though and I was able to have a lot of fun!
Haha this is ridicously hard in the beginning :D I was also quite suprised by the laser. With some polishing this game could really become a nice gem. Keep it on!
A great game for your first jam. I really liked the art. The screen shake when firing the laser felt very satisfying.
As the guy who didn't read the control instructions, I realized that you can stop only after the 4th run.
The idea is good. I liked it. But realization is kind of tricky. I think that the same idea will be better in 3D or with a character controller.
I don't understand how I should use dashes.
It's a very good result for the first jam. Good Luck!
