Use of the limitation
We had originally conceived of a choice-based story game, but we decided to go back to the drawing board and come up with a game where a shark can destroy ships in one hit, and where a lowly rock can fell a mighty shark in one hit too. Also this is my first Unity project ever, just started learning C# a few days ago!

How was your experience with Mini Jam?
Fun, will probably do it again, but I wish the limitations could be more adaptible to more game genres. Maybe that's the point though.

I do love the Jaws-like music :D Fun game you guys made
Nice job, especially for your first coding project. Enjoyed playing it!
Hint: It feels like the shark is getting faster from time to time but you can “brake” it by swimming against the walls. I don’t know if was intended.
Nice job, especially for your first Unity project. It’s fun to take out some shark rage on those pesky yachts. The explosion sound and graphic reminds me of flash animations.
This is a very solid game for just a few days of game development. I feel like it's a bit hard to tell what's coming because the shark is too fast. I completed 2 levels but it felt more like luck than skill.
The art and soundtrack are good, I really enjoyed this game, good job!
Cool game, I like the Jaws theme remix though it does get a little repetitive.
Great as a first game on Unity
I am impressed! I love the art style and the game itself is a lot of fun! Congratulations!
The goofy undertones to this game had me chuckling! Also the game is hard, could only beat one level. XD
I like the idea and the top-down view. Maybe I would add some juicy effects like a trail for the shark and waves when you do a catch.
Nice collect & dodge gameplay, with a backstory.
It is possible to soft-lock the game, though, at level 3 - there is a narrow gap between 2 buildings where the shark can get into, and get stuck in between the buildings, as it can't move forward or turn...
Cheers!
Yeah thats a fun one :)
I loved the art and music. The writing was also sharp and clever. I also liked the mechanic of never being able to stop.
Fun time, I hit so many boat and rack up many points. Although there are some problem when hitting the pier which can be confusing at time as the game slow down and occasionally die. Hitting the rock did guaranteed my death. It is quite fun and congrats on the game!
This is so fun!! It's one of those games that always distract me quickly, like baby sensory videos, lmao. :'D Maneuvering around the rocks is very fun! The shark slowing down when it hit a wall was a little bit annoying since it'd take a while for it to gain speed again, but I guess that adds to the experience.
The art and music are so good and one fits the other really well!! This is great!
I love the game idea. It certainly uses the limitations well. The game art is nice although it could use some modification like adding an outline to things that can kill the shark or something. I for sure thought I'd die just by hitting the docks so I tried my best to dodge those too, haha. The music and sounds are great. The controls could use some tweaking as it swerves to the left or right a bit way too much. But overall, I think you guys did a great job considering it's just a 3-day jam.
