Loved the pixel art and overall presentation, and the gameplay was engaging. A lot more personality than I expected for the timeline, but think the game could be much improved with audio and music design. I liked the straightforward gameplay loop, but agree that some balancing would have been a good step with more time. Overall good experience worth having and a good submission to the jam.

What a great, challenging game. The game doesn't explain itself much, but doesn't really need to, and the rising-water challenge is unique and interesting. I like how the sand blocks were limited resources, and the pixel art was quite appealing, but I do wish there had been more time for sound or music design. Good animations on the character, and the water looked good too. Overall a great experience worth having and a good submission to the jam.

Good art and fun gameplay, enjoyed the effects on catching a crab, and the upgrades were potentially interesting. Haven't seen this kind of take on fishing before, and think it could be fun with more upgrades and refinement. Overall a fun experience worth having and a good submission to the jam.

Great game, memorable concept, well-designed UI, sounds and graphics, and fun gameplay with an interesting twist. I could tell that time was spent tuning the gameplay and level design. Overall a fun experience worth having and a good submission to the jam.

Fun game, challenging but with good gameplay balance and cool obstacles. The sprite art and music design were solid and led to an engaging experience worth having. A good concept and use of limitation and overall good submission to the jam.

Good UI and chill music, really enjoyed the first few minutes of the game, but found the gameplay loop repeating a bit too fast for my taste. Good art design and palette, and overall fun experience worth having. Good submission to the jam.

Genuinely fun game, I was hooked from the moment I read the note, and it only took me like 2 minutes to understand the game. I did like dodging and shooting, but to be honest, I could only find the first number because I didn't really get the second clue, even after wasting 20 ammo and dying a few times, haha. I did really love the simple and tight puzzle gameplay though, and it controlled quite well, although some of the art assets and animations could be improved. Overall a fun experience worth having and a great submission to the jam.

Good presentation, nice low-poly visual style and attractive level design. I thought the mouse sensitivity was a bit low for my taste and encountered some physics issues but otherwise really enjoyed my time fishing. Fun experience worth having and a great submission to the jam.

Ton of polish, and great, easy-to-understand, interactive gameplay. Good sprite and animation design, and liked the sound design too. The short levels were a great format for this type of gameplay, and the overall experience felt curated and rewarding. Great experience worth having and an excellent submission to the jam.

Fun game with cute sprites and good pixel art, enjoyed the sound design too, and it was a fun take on volleyball. Liked the dropping items as well, but sometimes wondered how the limitation was being used. Overall a fun experience worth having and a good submission to the jam.

Great color palette and appealing visual design. Liked the music and the back-and-forth gameplay was very engaging. Felt chill and like the creators were chill while making it. Overall good experience worth having, and a great submission to the jam.

Good sound design and fun gameplay loop. Was a bit frustrating at first, but was engaging once I got into it. The art is pleasing and fits the theme well, but I wonder if the limitation could have been implemented more integrally to the game. Overall fun experience worth having and a great submission to the jam.

Fun and challenging game with good physics once I got used to it, and good sprite and sound design. I got stuck at the first few challenges for a while, but the game felt fair after a while. Would have loved more UI screens and elements maybe for clarity, but overall fun experience worth having and a great submission for the jam.

Great game, good bestiary/attention to detail, enemy behavior, gameplay, and sound design. Retro feel but with a well-curated presentation, including excellent use of limitation. Precise but action-packed experience worth having, and a great submission to the jam.

Really cute concept, and great controls - I was a bit confused about how to play at first, but loved it once I got going. The animations and level design are simple and great - good submission to the jam.

Fun variety of gameplay, and great art and sound design. Loved the angry sprite and the free-flowing gameplay. Would have enjoyed a bit longer experience but overall thought it was a great submission to the jam.

Cute game, love the pixel art and sound design, and the palette was used really well. The game had a really chill vibe and was more relaxing than many of the other entries. I do wish I had some firmer idea of where the game would end up from the beginning, but that might just be my impatience talking. Overall a charming and friendly experience worth having, and a great submission for the jam.

Great sound design - love the crab effect - great theming on itch, great attention to detail on click-animation, great crab-animation and overall great curated experience!

One thing that might have helped me is having a set number of points in mind to win, or some overall game objective from the start, and I kind of wish the bigger crabs gave more points, though I'm not sure if that's part of the design though. Overall fun game and I definitely enjoyed my time with it, very polished experience!
