Very nice game. For me, it was a little unclear that I was supposed to go for multiple fish on a hook. Once I realized that though, It was a lot easier lol. I loved upgrading and going a little deeper, catching different fish. Gameplay was very relaxing as a fishing game should be, though it was just challenging enough.

Overall, Great submission!

Thank you for playing and for your amazing feedback! It took me a bit to get the feel right, but in the end it was worth it!

Thank you for playing and for the words of encouragement!

I tried playing it, but the first screen that opens looks to be an upgrade screen and I have 0 money, couldn't do anything to leave that screen =(

Developer

Right click, it says it in the controls section in the description for the gam * - *

Submitted(+1)

Doesn't work, this is the screen I'm stuck at

Developer

I looked into it and I'm making another build thanks for informing me about the problem

Developer

The problem is now fixed!

Cool! I was able to play it now and it's such a relaxing game, loved that there are different maps as well so it's not repetitive. Great game!

Developer

Thank you for playing, and for your patience with this bug! Hope it doesn't affect your experience!

Nice concept! Each trip down being different and trying to go for different fishes was fun. Liked the upgrade system but struggled to understand buying. Felt like I could often buy items I couldn't afford, and the remaining cost wouldn't match what I expected, but I might have missed something.

Good job overall!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I'm not sure what you're talking about with the money, but I will try to find and remove that bug

Fishing for fragile fishes is a unique concept and an interesting way to implement the limitation! I also liked the fact that the ocean was procedurally generated, rare to see that in jam games.

I couldn't understand the buying mechanic at first, some in-game instructions could have helped communicate the idea better there

Other than that, it was a great game!

Developer

Thank you for the kind feedback and for playing! I will probably add some instructions to the shop to make it more readable.

Good art and fun gameplay, enjoyed the effects on catching a crab, and the upgrades were potentially interesting. Haven't seen this kind of take on fishing before, and think it could be fun with more upgrades and refinement. Overall a fun experience worth having and a good submission to the jam.

Thank you for playing and for your very nice feedback! I definently plan on maybe adding some upgrades to the game after the jam!

Small and nice little game - I like the basic mechanic. A bit more variation in the mechanic would be nice.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I was planning on making the game more complicated, but I felt that it would oversaturate the gameplay so I refrained from adding anything else

Great Game! I love the idea of a small mini game. Unfortunately my small mini games always get killed due to scope so I'm glad someone was able to successfully polish there idea!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the nice feedback! I loved your game!

Unfortunately, the right click to fish is a little buggy and will not work sometimes. Other than that, I absolutely loved the art (thick outlines are my favourite), and the fishing was pretty fun as well. Great job!

Thank  you for playing and for the nice feedback on my art style! The right click to fish, and the controls in general, can be a bit janky at times.
