Thanks insandio! I’ll dm it to you

drag and dropping should work

There is a known bug that’s due to some browsers that make it difficult though, but I can’t really do anything abt it

(1 edit)

Surprisingly fun, like a more polished and involved version of that simon toy

I can definitely see this project being improved tenfold by actually allowing you to fight other people in food battles, because right now the enemies are just a bit decorative. Maybe that could be implemented via online matchmaking, but i know that‘s extremely hard to do and not at all feasible in the context of this jam lol

I really like the sounds and the goofy character designs, they are very charming

Cool entry!

(1 edit)

the game looks great, you should consider making a better thumbnail, perhaps using the logo you made and one of the screenshots.

The king has cooked yet again

You really mastered this bullet hell style from you pgma entries. Really fun. Main feedback is that there should be less cooldown/indicator of your cooldown for your dash.

Good luck in the jam

This game is likely in my top 3 jam entries ever. you guys crushed it
feedback:

- adding flavor text when a homing missile hits a target, i couldn't tell if they even worked

-  it‘s hard to see the sea in the later levels, increase reflection maybe?

- regaining all of your health after dying and respawning at the last wave doesnt really make sense imo. i don‘t think there‘s any real difficulty in clearing one wave, and knowing you‘ll respawn with full hp if you die doesnt make the stakes that high. After i clear a wave i can just die, regain full hp, and continue. I support the decision of not making you restart the whole mission, especially in the context of a jam but i feel like there could be a better way to respawn the player when they die.

- make sharks spawn from the ocean. It was my top priority t destroy the shark carriers whenever i saw them, so i never got to experience the sharks. and i wasn't going to just let them be there lol.

I consider these nitpicks in an amazing, juicy, stylish, and extremely entertaining entry. I‘m only pointing these out because everything else is basically flawless. It was fun to see the game being developed and getting to this stage. well done

woo

Tysm, i appreciate it

that is an insane score lol

Thank you! I‘m happy you had fun with the playtest.

I appreciate the fact that you took the time to fill out the feedback form too

thanks for the nice comment! I agree that most games that mention flappy bird on here are probably low quality, but that’s probably due because it’s the dev first project or practice

Getting all the blocks is probably not realistic for a first playthrough haha

This is just a playtest and more things are to come :)

thanks for playing! I think I should be able to solve that pretty easily. For now, the windows version runs much smoother than browser :)

ty!

I used godot 4.4.1!

Damn this is really good

I really like the animations and character controller and the fact that you can slide into enemies when you run out of ammo is really cool imo. Really satisfying

The visuals are really nice too, i wonder if a crt shader and a pixelated overlay would have fit here. Or maybe rounding positions of the model verticies, but i know that can be a lot of work especially for a jam

My feedback would be adding an arrow pointing to the gate when you obtain the key and maybe choosing a skybox that doesnt have a gray bottom because you could see it at times.

I really like the voice acting and story, it‘s top notch lmao. If i had participated i would have given this a great rating. Common bubba W

wowowow this was so good!

The screen effect with the different games is crazy for scratch. I dont even wanna know how you came up with that

SPOILERS BELOW

The story is quite cryptic but i think i understood it. The character is called "arrow" and he made a deal with this owl that also appears in the picture. His end of the deal was to stop being sad/down, which also has gameplay repercussions

I am probably way off but that's my interpretation at least

I also probably missed some things because i have no idea what that lock is about

I think this is really cool and you should be proud of it!

dude this is so polished and such a cool take on minesweeper i love it!

awesome! I’ll check it out again!

Really enjoyable!

Loved it! Filled the feedback form too

How 😭, that’s crazy

My high is 9000, but we are working on the game to make some big changes

Tysm for playing

First of all, perfect implementation  of both themes.
I love the aesthetic of pixel perfect games, so this was right up my alley. I bet you had fun messing around with polygonshape2Ds haha

The puzzles are extremely well designed, you really get everything out of the mechanic you made.

My feedback is:

- it seems that if you draw faster, you can make bigger circles, which doesn't seem intended

- maybe a small chase sequence where you have to climb while something is following you from underneath would have been a nice ending touch (although I completely understand the time limit, what you have here is already amazing, and I may be influenced by my entry lol)

overall great game! I enjoyed it.

The blank spaces at the end is genius! I love the tweening you used for the pen, I need an extension for my browser that does that haha, so satisfying

Although quite simple, it's amazingly executed. Great entry.

This is a very charming game, I love how you jump around the office. My only feedback is that showing your pee and coffee meter on the screen while in the office would be nice. The gravity twist is fun, good job!

Completely understandable. Thanks for playing!

yup that’s an oversight on my part, if you run out of ink in the tutorial you get soft locked

Thanks for playing! if you give it a try again keep that in mind!

(1 edit)

my teammate summed it up pretty well!

Thank you so much for leaving this comment, it’s great to see people actually understanding how to move in the game

Amazing score!

I'm glad you think so. I do agree that it feels great when you finally understand how to move!

This reminds me of sort or splode mini game for the nintendo ds, and I love that mini game, and this scratch that same itch (.io? pen intended)

Other than the fact that I don't really understand what a pen is doing here, the gravity theme was well implemented. Nice job!

the little platform that could

(1 edit)

Cool aesthetic! I can see how this can get very addicting. I got a rank at my second rank

I did not use any of the ink pinballs, maybe the reward for them should be even bigger

A way to control the direction of the wall pi would be nice too

But I really liked this entry, very impressive for only one day too! and the contextualisation was funny. (I came from my reddit post)

btw, there is a typo, the word is written l, its not "permenant" but "permanent"

we are aiming to make the ink more intuitive and less frustrating in the future!

Thank you for your feedback

Each little platform is like a little puzzle, that’s a fun way to think abt it

Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing dude ! And great score too!

glad you enjoyed!

thank you for your feedback!

(1 edit)

you ran out of ink! thats an oversight on my part, you got softlocked,
You learn how to regen ink later in the tutorial

thank you! We had to handle lots of frames for the pen so I’m glad you liked it
