Thank you! I‘m happy you had fun with the playtest.
I appreciate the fact that you took the time to fill out the feedback form too
thanks for the nice comment! I agree that most games that mention flappy bird on here are probably low quality, but that’s probably due because it’s the dev first project or practice
Getting all the blocks is probably not realistic for a first playthrough haha
This is just a playtest and more things are to come :)
Damn this is really good
I really like the animations and character controller and the fact that you can slide into enemies when you run out of ammo is really cool imo. Really satisfying
The visuals are really nice too, i wonder if a crt shader and a pixelated overlay would have fit here. Or maybe rounding positions of the model verticies, but i know that can be a lot of work especially for a jam
My feedback would be adding an arrow pointing to the gate when you obtain the key and maybe choosing a skybox that doesnt have a gray bottom because you could see it at times.
I really like the voice acting and story, it‘s top notch lmao. If i had participated i would have given this a great rating. Common bubba W
wowowow this was so good!
The screen effect with the different games is crazy for scratch. I dont even wanna know how you came up with that
SPOILERS BELOW
The story is quite cryptic but i think i understood it. The character is called "arrow" and he made a deal with this owl that also appears in the picture. His end of the deal was to stop being sad/down, which also has gameplay repercussions
I am probably way off but that's my interpretation at least
I also probably missed some things because i have no idea what that lock is about
I think this is really cool and you should be proud of it!
First of all, perfect implementation of both themes.
I love the aesthetic of pixel perfect games, so this was right up my alley. I bet you had fun messing around with polygonshape2Ds haha
The puzzles are extremely well designed, you really get everything out of the mechanic you made.
My feedback is:
- it seems that if you draw faster, you can make bigger circles, which doesn't seem intended
- maybe a small chase sequence where you have to climb while something is following you from underneath would have been a nice ending touch (although I completely understand the time limit, what you have here is already amazing, and I may be influenced by my entry lol)
overall great game! I enjoyed it.
Cool aesthetic! I can see how this can get very addicting. I got a rank at my second rank
I did not use any of the ink pinballs, maybe the reward for them should be even bigger
A way to control the direction of the wall pi would be nice too
But I really liked this entry, very impressive for only one day too! and the contextualisation was funny. (I came from my reddit post)
btw, there is a typo, the word is written l, its not "permenant" but "permanent"
