You definitely got the rage game part right, very well done definitely got annoyed at it lol

Developer

Ahaha sorry buddy 😅😅. Did you manage to complete it?

Submitted(+2)

I like the idea. I found myself playing it over and over despite not being able to beat it. It seems like a speedrunner's dream game, but wow does it seem hard. Nice entry.

Developer

Yeah the feedback I got was a lot of people asking for timers originally so they could see how fast they could beat it :P there is a tonne of ways to decrease your time. Thanks for the feedback :D

I don't think anyone is gonna beat this
Developer

I just did it again

Alas I was unable to beat the game after 40 tries... Echoing what everyone else said great art, music, design, very challenging and rewarding. Only critique I have is the coyote jump is very small compared to the regular jump. I tried to use it on the very first section to fall and mid air jump over the lava to save time and it was surprisingly not able to make it over that. Great game, can't wait to see more of yours! Glad we both like difficult games.

Developer(+1)

aha no way! Unfortunate you wasn't able to do it :D its weird some people spend 30+ minutes on it, and others do it in less then 20 tries, but that's the fun of it I guess. Thanks for the feedback though! cant wait to see more of yours as well

I would say that was one of the best games I have played in the game jam, the level design was amazing, but there was a bug where sometimes you get stuck inside a platform, also the game really needs a jump buffer but other than that it was awesome, well done

It took me more than 200 attempts to end it but I did it XD

200 ATTEMPS IS INSANE.  I am super flattered by the compliments too but ahahaha Im super glad you were addicted enough to do it though :D. And YES I know I have tried to patch it but I will have to try again, I cant seem to get it to stop falling into the platform on rare occasions.  Thanks for your feedback :D

Very fun and challenging. It took me a while to finish it. There is a part of the map that you can cross from the sides, I don’t know if this bug only happens on ultrawide monitors. Even so, I loved the experience, good job :D

Developer(+1)

Apparently it is something that only happens on ultrawide monitors >:( Ill try and have a look into how to stop that from happening, but thanks for the feedback! :D

It's very good! the art is great and the controls but it took me like 20 tries to get to the same spot in the level, and I always died in the same place xD maybe a checkpoint would have helped, just that, everything else is excellent!

Developer

Thanks you! and ahaha Definitely no checkpoints :P an entire run is less then a minute, I think the enjoyment comes from failing over and over and then the parts you struggled with become easy! but I'm glad you enjoyed it !

Really liked the art and sound. Good luck with the Jam :)

Developer

Thanks so much! good luck to you too :D

Cool level design. I like how you have just enough time at parts to escape the lava.

Developer

Thank you! took a lot of testing to get the right balance so it was difficult and not Impossible, glad that translated well to you during your gaming experience with it :D Thanks for the feedback and playing the game!

Good game, i couldn’t get to the end but i did find a bug on my ultra-wide monitor where there would be a gap to just fall to the bottom. Graphics wise the game is good but inconsistent with the pixel sizes e.g the player is “higher res” than the platforms that you open with the keys

Developer

Hmm. Wonder why that is, I will have to look into Unity's interactions with ultrawide monitors in the future. But thanks for the feedback! I guess I could change some of the assets too. Thanks for playing though :)

Submitted(+2)

Yeah that was very difficult I dont think I'm a good enough player to beat it looks very fun and love the retro style

Developer

Its just patience and learning from your mistakes aha I'm SURE you could beat it with some dedication don't doubt yourself, but I appreciate the feedback! Thanks for playing :)

This was a challange indeed, the level design is cool. However I kept dying at the end thinking that I am doing something wrong but when I went to full screen the gap showed.. Addicting game tho, couldnt leave untill I finished it

Developer

Thank you! I keep getting told its very addicting which is fun. I wanted to make the game feel "long" but obviously since we only had 2 days I couldn't do that without making it difficult with replay ability. Sorry to hear the gap wasn't visible unless in full screen. Its my first 2D and WebGL project, Ill try patch it out in the future, thanks for the feedback though :D

Difficult yet rewarding indeed! Didn’t have the time (pun not intended) to beat it fully right now but might try again later.

Developer

Ahaha no problem, glad you enjoyed it for now though, do let me know if you manage to complete it.

One of my favorites so far! Great Job

Developer

Thanks so much! Glad to see you were able to complete it :D

Challenging! I think it could benefit from making the player's hitbox smaller than the sprite, though. That'd make dodging more readable and forgiving. Overall, nice entry!

Developer(+1)

Ill give it a try for a future patch! but thanks a lot bro :D

Submitted(+2)

Love the idea! It was definitely difficult but fun to keep learning things like "ohhh dang okay I can't jump there or I need to go there next time"

Developer(+1)

Yess! Im glad, thats exactly what I was aiming for. thanks so much for the feedback :D

Really difficult but fun game!  I would be nice to have downward camera motion smoothed and the background parallax.

Developer

For sure! Ill try patch that in the future, thanks for playing :)
