Great puzzle games, loved the idea of using your body to progress through the game. Level 4 if you die at beginning you will spawn under your dead bodies and you get stuck, but I was able to complete the game! Great Job.

very unique, reverse the floor is lava

Developer

That’s the idea:D thanks for playing..

omg my dead body works as a platform 10/10 ok but seriously, this game is really cool,i love the little guy but the jump feels like it is a little to low for example on level 2 i had to wait a while for the water to rise so i could use my dead body as a platform

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll try to fix it in the next build. and thanks for playing :D

Great game, the lava guy is super cute. Creative how you have to use your deaths to get further. My main complaint is that the jump felt unresponsive, probably because I kept trying to jump off the edge but fell before I hit space (add coyote time maybe?). That being said, I had fun, so good job! I also think the idea has a lot of potential if you wanted to expand on it.

Developer

That’s exactly what happens, the raycast Collider is located in the center of the player, so it doesn’t detect the collision. As you said, coyote time would solve this problem easily. I will try to implement this in the next builds. Thanks for the feedback :D

Using your bodies to progress is a super cool idea. Only complaint is that they can sometimes block you off from places you could get to before which means you have to do more work to get back there. I think if you made it so that the bodies didnt have collision and they were just platforms that you could jump up through and stand on then it would solve that. Great entry!

Developer

The initial idea was to limit the number of bodies the player could use. But as I couldn’t test the game in time, I decided to leave this mechanic aside so as not to make the experience too difficult. I intend to implement this mechanic in the next update. Thanks for the feedback :3

This was the game that I had the most fun playing from Gamejam, it was really good, the fact that you are running away from the water and there is no lava makes the game very unique, but the icing on the cake is the mechanic of using the erased bodies as an aid in phase, it works really well and everything was well thought out. The only thing that bothered me was the jumping, but this is compensated by the fact that you can use your bodies to reach places you couldn't reach.

thank you ❤️

Really unique mechanic with having to die to progress I thought it was really fun. I will say though it could do with a bit of atmosphere or music because it felt rather empty. Incredible art and the sound effects were great though.

Developer

Thanks for playing :D Unfortunately I didn’t have time to make the music, I made the whole game yesterday and I almost couldn’t send it in time. But thanks for the feedback ;)

Loved that the player was actually lava and I liked the puzzle mechanic where you had to die and turn into a lava  rock in order to get past certain phases. I did run into a problem where I got trapped because I couldn't move the dead lava rock bodies past a certain point, it would be interesting if they eventually got deleted after a certain amount of time

Like the twist on the on using the theme!

Thanks for playing :D Yep, the player can get stuck in some places. I thought about fixed it limiting the number of deaths per stage, but I didn’t want to make the game too difficult and let the player be creative. Your idea sounds more interesting, thanks for the feedback! ;)
