I think the game could use some clearer menu icons and transitions from menu to game to game-over and so on. As well as walking animations. These are pretty minor compared to the fact that you have a fun core concept to build on. The physics and controls feel nice to run around with as well.
I got wrecked by some green guy who could fly around in the bottom of a pit, also.

Did you work in a team?
Only I worked on the game, It was a really fun experience but got a little stressed at the end.
Was the resolution a challenge?
The biggest problem was making the text readable on screen, it didn't really impact me in any other form really.
What did you learn?
I've definitely learned a lot, and became a lot better with Godot. I also learned that I should go for guality over quantity, especially in a gamejam lol.

I agree just a little more polish otherwise very fun game. :) I got all the guns, auto shotgun knocks you back so far I was afraid to use it near those platforms in case I fell off ^^
see that space theme I understood that I could jump high. But the jump time was too short. and the movement is slow When shot, the slower it moved. good graphic.
I feel like a lot of effort was put in the game, the weapons, recoil and slowdown when you get are nice touches. I do feel the player acceleration was a bit slow, it made platforming a bit difficult, especially at the last level. The way the bullets are fired from the enemies before seeing them is a little hard to react against, it might help if they start shooting when you are in their field of view. Overall, a game with great potential.
Nice tunes and sprites! Felt a little floaty but overall nice job!
Good bosses and strategies to follow. Would have loved a bit more work on the gfx side, some elements are hard to read (first boss is hard to spot but for the green glass in the helmet) and some issues with overlapping elemens (like actual funds while in the store). Nicely done but with some room to improve!
Boss battles were challenging and difficult to master (Nice!)
Progressing through the game required buying new weapons thus harnessing that mechanic (Great!)
Music and graphics were interesting.
The text could be better if a little bit sharper and clearer.
Maybe this devblog for setting up Godot for such low resolutions can help?
The size of the download was astonishing.
Maybe some assets could be made smaller.
Compressing music/images into a different format?
It took a very long time to load for some reason. Otherwise, everything is good. The graphics are nice, however there should be a few more sound effects in my opinion. and the text was a little difficult to read, but overall it was pretty cool.
I like the style and option for buying different guns before going to a level. Could see this being quite fun. It would have been nice to have some sound effects to give a bit more feedback to the user.
It also took quite a while to load, although it might just be that my internet is slow!
