:D thanks for playing and not understanding anything :D

thank you for playing

Interesting concept! I didn’t really understand what makes one line of poetry better than another, or how the verses are ranked. Then again, I’m not a native English speaker, so maybe the whole idea just went over my head.

Controlling the character didn’t feel quite right for me, because I really missed having coyote time, and the camera lag was a bit frustrating. I also felt the lack of music and sounds, which could have instantly made the world feel more alive. That said, the colors and sprites were really cool and unique!

Sorry there wasn’t more time for it, I would have loved to try the finished version :) I also found the enemy missiles a bit too slow to really feel like a danger.

A friendly and simple cat adventure — I liked it! I only managed to reach two ending screens though :( Also, when I click restart, I get stuck in the dialogue and can only get out by refreshing.

You had me at the cat! I like the 1-bit style, but a bit of dithering or some texture on the walls would have been great.

Very good idea, and I love the execution too. Keep making games like this!

Such a fun little Dr. Mario clone — great music and graphics! I enjoyed every minute of it.

Sorry, I couldn’t quite figure out what to do, but I really liked your title!

(1 edit)

Really cool concept, and I like the few-bit palette a lot! For some reason, after leveling up it seemed to restart completely for me. The hitboxes could use a bit more work, and maybe the enemies could have some i-frames as well. Sometimes it wasn’t clear which parts of the floor were walkable or where I could transition to another screen. A few props also damaged me even though they didn’t really look like they would, some clearer telegraphing there would help.

I like how you made the 'one button' idea your own! One thing I didn’t quite understand though: when I press E, the gauge doesn’t seem to stop right away, so I wasn’t really sure what was happening.

Nice sprites and animations! It could have used a couple of extra minigames to add more variety — maybe even something different each day to incentivize replaying

Very nice sprites, animations, and art direction! I’d be curious to see a full, expanded version as well. It also would have been great to have left-handed controls (WASD instead of the arrow keys).

Cool concept! I never really figured out what the red 8 balls do, and it could have used a couple more textures. That said, it still felt good and juicy to play around with.

Cool idea! I only got to play the WebGL version, so I couldn’t really give the project a fair rating. It would have been nice to see an updated WebGL build to better experience what you created.

Wow, such a cool concept and really nice presentation! I’ve never been much of a puzzle gamer though, and I couldn’t quite figure out what to do in this room:

Shit happens! The biggest lesson I’ve learned from this game jam is about setting the right scope!

I really like the palette and the sprites! What I missed a bit was a clear game goal. In my own game, for example, I added a codex where the unlocked fish are collected. If the goal is going for the highest score, it would help to have some kind of penalty for releasing a fish. The effects are great, and I really liked the title music too.

I like the music, sprites, and sounds, they all work really well! The controls could feel a bit tighter though, especially the delay between two consecutive dashes

I like the sounds and sound effects, but I did miss having some music. I was also a bit confused about why the clouds damage the plane, and what the camera is supposed to do.

There is a big H on the main landing pad. But you're right, i should have made it mor intuitive, cause most people have the same problem.

thanks for playing!

hey, thanks for playing! you have to land on the main pad to sell fish :)

Very cool concept! For me though, the experience didn’t really come through, and in the end it felt a bit repetitive just increasing and decreasing a circle without much else happening. I also missed having sounds and music. Unfortunately, I lost interest fairly quickly.

The animations and pixel art look really nice, but I did feel like it was missing a bit of 'gameplay' for me.

I really enjoyed this one – the music, sounds, and animations are all great! I was also missing a quick restart option.

I really like the palette and colors, and the surfing controls feel great! I did notice that if I keep holding the up key, I keep jumping and stacking air points. Also, I wasn’t quite sure why I sometimes got a game over. A quick restart option would have been nice too..

Nice work! The music is catchy and the sound effects fit well. A few animations and some extra polish on the sprites would have made it even more engaging. I also felt it was missing a way to telegraph which customer is about to leave (for example, their face starting to turn red).

I had some fun playing it for a bit. I think I was missing some gentle, atmospheric background music, and maybe a scoring system or percentage progress indicator to motivate me to go for another round.

i miss the "game" from it, anyways it's a cool idea

I really like the pixelart, and how chill the whole game are. Nice one!

thank you for playing it, and thanks for the feedback!

thank you for playing. sorry about the hitboxes but you know: jam timelines! i plan a post jam version with bugfixes too :)

thank you for playing it!

was having fun playing this, while jumping i could feel the weight of this little block. good one

very nice concept and graphics, but i didnt really understood what am i doing sometimes. love the sounds, and the mood of this game.

cute graphics, but almost has no gameplay. I lol'd a little at the end animation. The character movement speed is too slow to be enjoyable.
