Really cool concept, and I like the few-bit palette a lot! For some reason, after leveling up it seemed to restart completely for me. The hitboxes could use a bit more work, and maybe the enemies could have some i-frames as well. Sometimes it wasn’t clear which parts of the floor were walkable or where I could transition to another screen. A few props also damaged me even though they didn’t really look like they would, some clearer telegraphing there would help.
