It was fun to play. I liked the general concept and the presentation. I feel like the controls were a little more complex than needed, maybe just one type of arrow that you can rotate by clicking once placed? I kept getting the wrong arrow direction due to screen rotation.

Developer

Thanks for playing! That is a really cool idea too. I was trying to figure ways to reduce the amount of UI on screen and this would also help with that.

I did a recorded play of your game :)

Grats on submitting !!

I liked it. i did manage to solve all the puzzles i think. Only thing i found it needed was maybe ..maybe some sort of indicator as a reference to which direction the arrows were going to reference. like the up arrow tile is up from facing what direction.

other then that good game i liked playing it :)

Developer

Thankyou so much! This is the ultimate form of feedback to visually see how a stranger would play your game. You gave a great amount of advice.

Its a very chill game to play without any stress. Thinking to find a solution for stages while listening that relaxing music is very good. I just found camera movement a bit annoying instead of that you can use static camera but its not a very big problem (pressing shift solve that problem) Good work ^^

Developer

Thanks for the kind words!

This is so relaxing from the music to the bright art! Controls could be a bit more refined, as it'd be nice to be able to control everything with just the mouse (maybe holding left click to move  arrows / holding right click to move the camera?). Other than that I absolutely love this!

Developer

Thankyou! I agree the controls need a lot of reworking, thanks for the advice.

This reminds me of playing Factorio.. trying to place some sensible conveyor belts... I like it! I think the controls are bit confusing, pressing shift to lock the camera is a bit strange, got there in the end though. My biggest issue was that the arrow icons weren't relative to the current camera facing, which made it quite confusing at times and then often I'd accidentally place the arrow instead of selecting a different arrow. Some of the later levels had some nice aha moments, I like those ones where there were already arrows placed and you had to take them into account. Nice work :)

Developer

I can see how that can cause confusion now. Thanks for playing!

Besides the camera which some others already mentioned, I think this game could also benefit having a "single undo" button. Sometimes I placed an error on a square by mistake and I had to start all over to adjust it. I also initially was a bit confused with which square I needed to guide. I feel like the blue square would have served as a better "goal" and the white square as the player, but that is just my opinion.

Good work tho!

Developer

An undo button is a great idea thanks!

I like how chill this is.

Developer

Thanks!

Music is very nice and the game itself is quite relaxing.
Camera controls wasn't really plesant to use, I think fixed position would be a better option. Also levels with arrows placed beforehand got me a bit confused and it took me few tries to get how they work. More polish would make this game a lot better, but I very enjoyed it.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely change the camera in the future.

This is a very relaxing game especially with the music. The camera controls felt unnecessary. You could just fix the camera where you can see the whole board then place arrows where you want them. It also avoids the confusion of what direction you need to go.

Thanks for this game, it relieved some stress.

Developer

Thanks for the advice! I'm grateful to hear it reduced your stress levels  :D

First of all :

-  I like tos kind of puzzle game.

- Mechanic is simple, but the consumable arrow is a good twist for some clever puzzle.

- Music fit the game.

- Visual are simple, and it make the board readable.

Now, what can be improved :

- I think the camera rotation is a bad idea because we don't know any-more (I mean without some thinking) in which direction the arrow we pick is gone to be.

- Movement is too slow (we already have imagine the trajectory, so it feel slow).

- Make the music loop.

- Would be good to cancel a placed arrow by simply clicking again on it (and avoid double placement)

- To avoid z-fighting, you could simply scale your arrow/final cube a bit.

- Add some more sound and juice.

Overall, nice game, it was enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

Developer

Wow thankyou for the in depth advice! I greatly appreciate this! I will keep your points in mind as I plan to continue developing this game.

Nice chill lo-fi vibes. I think this puzzle concept has been done many times in the past though and the decision to have a moving camera is pretty questionable. Good job though :)

Developer

Thanks! I was inspired by a minigame from the old Professor Layton games, might try to add more of a twist later on.

I love the chill vibe and the music really makes it a calm zen game! Fun puzzles all around! Nicely Done!

Developer

Thankyou!

I can't play the game as every time I move the mouse the view rotates, it's very disorienting.  Tried a few times, still the same.  Maybe it's only on my laptop.  Too bad I can't play it.

You gotta press shift to lock the camera :)

Developer

I apologise for the unclear controls, left shift currently locks / unlocks all camera movement. I only put instructions in level one but it was a bit messy sorry!

Pretty sweet! The design is sharp, the puzzles are fun, and the music makes me want to be a better person. Great game!

Developer

That's amazing! Thanks for the kind words.

Nice game, its very relaxing. I will say that the controls I did find confusing at times, but I'm sure you would work that out if you continue to develop it.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah been given some great ideas for new controls setup.

Nice puzzle game ! looks neat.

A bit easy but it works well for a jam game.

The camera moving got me a bit confused & seemed a bit unecessary. Maybe just orientate it in the right direction for the player.

appart from that, pretty solid entry. good job :)

Developer

Thankyou! Yeah been alot of comments about the camera controls, there are definitely better ways, thanks for playing.

relaxing music, simple puzzle game.Wish it had more environment wise

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Definitely should, the levels are a bit bland right now aha.

Simple puzzle game.

Grid system worked great.

Possibly look to add a click rotation of the camera versus a shift to halt the camera. I.e. hold right click to rotate the camera around the map etc.. Also when placing a different arrow onto another arrow it should replace the existing arrow.

Developer

Those are some much better ideas, thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

nice and simple.

the grid placement felt great.

I think rotating the player would be great. and for the camera, clicking a mouse button might feel better than shift.

Developer

I'm glad you liked the grid system, the idea to rotate the player is a nice touch, and yeah the shift button does feel a bit clunky.
