As a puzzle game lover, I enjoyed this one :)

Nice puzzle, that fit well with the them. The last puzzle seems to only admit one solution, but n fact there is several. Overall that was fun to play.

Cool game and nice visuals. The music honestly was painful to listen to for me so I'm glad there was an option to turn it off. I thought it was a fairly intuitive rule for winning, but than I got stuck on a puzzle and I had no idea why. overall good work on this, good puzzles, I only wish there were more explicit instructions.

Hello, very nice game, interesting idea, fun to play and the visuals are also nice overall good job!

I played your game twice, once before the jam started and once after. The second time I passed 2 more levels which makes me happy. As you said in another comment you do need a difficulty curve & level design in some of them but not bad at all. Also with the neon lights and all I was expecting something less calming for a background music.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing.

Twice.

Thanks for the valuable feedback

good game

It's an interesting concept, but I think I'm bad at puzzles like these :'D

Developer

thanks for playing.

I assume a better difficulty curve or level design could change that.

the game is currently too random.

First of all, I think that for the most part the art style is nice, not over the top but not boringly simplistic either.  I also appreciate the addition of music toggle since after a while the music got on my nerves. +1 for making the title screen the first level as well. Not completely groundbreaking but you did it well.  One gripe I did have was the perspective made it difficult to gage what button to press, sometimes I would press the wrong button even though I knew what direction I wanted to go because of the movement appearing diagonal from the view of the camera. An option to rotate the camera might have helped with that.

Developer

thanks for playing my game.

And that is a wonderful feedback.

  • Good to hear abt music toggle since im learning I thought its a must.
  • From feedback I got, in future games I would try to make the player choose isometric direction (I think that will solve the problem)

like the puzzles!! couldnt get past the 3 long box stage!

I love aesthetic games like this! (idk if it was purposeful or not but the block moves in time with the music :p very satisfying)

Developer

oh good to know you liked it.

It was not purposeful must be because of bosca ceoil

I got to a puzzle with three long blocks that were stacked. I thought I'd figured the puzzle out, but when I made it so all the pieces were connected, the game stuttered and then brought me back to the home menu :(

That aside, I think this is a pretty interesting game. I'll be honest, I didn't go back through all the puzzles after it reset me, so I can't say whether or not the puzzles would get more challenging, but I would hope so. It's a little weird how you can infinitely go out of bounds, at least on the main menu, but the R to restart prevents it from being a problem. I like the art and aesthetic - it's simple, and effective. The only artistic choice I'd question is the music - there's nothing wrong with it being minimalistic, but it's a bit goofy sounding, and takes me out of the game more than it puts me in.

Overall, great job!

Developer(+1)

thanks you for going to such detail.

The level you got reset on is the last level so you did not miss anything and a lot people faced that problem.

Im not that great with music but just tried doing it on own, hoping to improve over time (will take much more care to make music that amplify game in future)

Thanks again:D

Hey, for a first attempt at doing your own music, that's not bad! My first stuff was way worse, haha. It takes some time and practice, don't be too hard on yourself about it! And that's what I thought, but I just wasn't positive it was the final level or if it was a glitch.  Thanks for replying!

Nice eye catching style. Ideal amount of difficulty in the puzzles. A solid entry overall.

Bonus points for trying your own music. I did the same for my entry, its definitely a skill worth improving :D

Developer

Thanks for enjoying the game. Glad you liked the art style. Kudoos to you too for trying own music

will check your game soon.

I was a bit confused at first, then I figured it out how to play the game. But the music is a bit weird to me. Anyway, keep up the good work!

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing.

Im trying to make own music so I am  hoping to get better in future

The art is beautiful ! Really catches the attention.

At first I was wondering how this was to be played, but it made sense really quickly.

It was fun, and I would have hoped to play more levels !

Well done :)

Submitted(+1)

nice. I was also a bit confused. I think having a small pathway indicator on the boxes showing that the two portals can be connected could be nicer. Like a line of some sort with the same color as the top of the portals and a win screen. It's pretty and sweet

Developer

Thanks for playing.

i thought of adding a small portal, on top of moving blocks, that rotates when the block is connected to any main portal and connecting the path after winning.

the goal is left for player. Felt it can be figured in 1 or 2 levels

Submitted(+1)

I gotta say the goal of what to do was a little confusing at first, but I figured it out eventually and it was fun to play around with! Just have some minor suggestions, like adding pause/quit buttons and to make the perspective of the blocks a little more clear. On level 3 (I think) I thought a block was floating when it really wasn't. But other than that, I think this game has a lot of potential and I am a fan of the neon art style! Good job my friend

Developer(+1)

I did thought of adding undo/quit buttons and in the end it just didn't happen.

I feel the game is more suitable for mobile as moving camera and swipe would be perfect combination for this game

Nice job!

Really nice looking game. I have to say though, my brain found it hard get to grips with the controls, might just be a me problem, something about isometric view and Arrow Keys just wasn't clicking haha. I got there in the end though! I also had the problem with the final level as someone else mentioned below. I was sure I was doing it right, it actually froze on one attempt, then I restarted the game, tried it again and it worked, maybe there's a small bug with the check on that level? But despite that, nice little game, looks nice, sounds nice and I like that you can just kinda wander off if you want.

Developer(+1)

oh, i might have to check that level again then.

i think it was a common problem with isometric view. everyone prefers directions in a different way.

glad you found it good. thanks for your detailed comment.

Submitted(+1)

You're welcome :)
That's an interesting idea you pointed out that I never really thought about, that people will have a different mental mapping of what UP is on an isometric view.

Submitted(+1)

Clean and nice ! Nice artwork, polish and well executed ! Nice puzzle game :) !

Developer

thanks for playing:D
