I am at 60. I play, them in a random order trying to be fair to all. I believe around 70-80 games is a good goal for everyone in order to get some accurate results in the end!

Hello there, sorry for the late response, unfortunately I just saw this topic, it got hidden with all the game exchange ones. Sorry to hear about your experience, you are unlucky if you had your game ready because we did give some extra time to those who asked us in Discord, because multiple people were late with all their builds etc. It's ok though, I hope you learned a lot and had lots of fun with building your project. About whether or not we will do another Jam, after this one is over we (the mods & John) will definitely discuss about our experience organizing this and maybe sometime in the future there will be another one!

I said no new topics, you can post links and everything in older topics

I would prefer if you had thrown some of the UI or leveling up system time to the actual gameplay. Like some general effects, smoother movements and collisions. The UI was and the Leveling system looked nice.

Probably one of my favorite games so far. Felt really nice playing, loved your work, nothing to comment about it!

Hello everyone

From now on you are allowed to make any changes or updates to the pages of your entries. That means uploading images, changing descriptions and everything related (You still can't upload new game builds though). That is because a few participants unfortunately didn't see our messages in discord and updated their pages yesterday. It would be wrong to just disqualify any of them when they've come so far. Fortunately there are still 4 days of voting so that won't be an issue for any of you.

Also an important reminder, DO NOT comment on games without playing on them or rating them just to get fake visibility. If we notice more of that we might start disqualifying people.

Finally 4 days left for the voting period to end. Try to rate as many games as possible and have fun

Fun game. Level 2 felt the best out of all. If you are considering to do a future update I would add some ghost time when you get hit, so that I would be able to get away from enemies when I get hit.

I can't make this work, I was expecting some kind of tutorial in the introduction levels. I was able to draw a line once but I only did it once. Probably a bug, or I simply didn't understand what was going on. Also I didn't like the fact that you made the game background blend in with the page's background color. I didn't know where the game border's were and it felt wrong.

Which are your favorite puzzle games so far?

First one is this  https://allalonegamez.itch.io/connect-all-the-bots , gave me a nostalgic feeling with gb art and sfx. Game felt complete, I didn't find anything missing in it. Level design was complete and easy to follow.

Second one is this https://petpumpkin.itch.io/handshakes. Nice concept, trickier puzzles than the first (at least I had a more difficult time than the first). More complex mechanisms than the first one.

Both of them felt really good. However I still haven't played all the entries so if you've played a cool puzzle game you want to share go ahead.

Game looks great, I can see that you 've thrown a lot of work. I have two notes for future updates, some kind of indicator for where the door is, like hidden stuff etc. and a better enemy agro, the moment I exited the park I saw an army of ghosts waiting to drain my energy. Great job!

I played your game twice, once before the jam started and once after. The second time I passed 2 more levels which makes me happy. As you said in another comment you do need a difficulty curve & level design in some of them but not bad at all. Also with the neon lights and all I was expecting something less calming for a background music.

Tricky polished controls, nice art, not bad!

Nice little puzzle game, good job!

Nice approach, you shouldn't advertise it as only a "two player" game, one can handle both of them perfectly. But yes it would be nicer if we all had some friends to play with. Only thing I would add is some kind of damage indicator for enemies. Nicely done!

Something is wrong or I am missing about the jump. I succeeded on finishing only the first tutorial level, the second jump just feels impossible. I really have no idea.

Nice concept, you could also add some obstacles as well or some kind of limited resources or something. Which now that I am thinking about it, they might as well be there already on the different difficulty settings. Good Job!

Guys at this point it has become annoying spam, almost 50/80 community topics are exactly that. Do not trade reviews like that. Simply open the submissions and find some games to play FOR FUN.

I will start deleting every new "Play my game to play yours " topic created from now on. I am encouraging you to post about games that you find awesome, inspiring or anything and want to share your experience with it.

IMPORTANT: Also DO NOT comment at games you don't play just to get some fake visibility. Play a game, enjoy it (or not), rate and then comment. I am considering starting to disqualify people with entries that do that.

For the next jam prioritize more commonly used platforms, like windows and webgl. Mac or android aren't your best options.

Animation, sfx and concept are pretty good, however there are multiple bugs. Great concept though, after the jam you should work more on it!

I seriously have no idea how to translate these. Nice pixel art though and dialogs!

Art with a little more work can be much nicer. The game mechanisms need a lot of work, the right buttons, bombs etc don't seem to work. Maybe add a tutorial level or more analytic controls for the next jam. Good concept!

A classic concept but very nice art and music. Compared to other similar games the puzzles feel a little better as well. Good job!

The murderers feel a little random for me, I can't figure out who is who and the scene shaking like it does feels a little unpleasant. However good concept and art and I can see that there is some serious work behind this. Maybe add some wanted posters or something for murderers in a future update.

A classic concept but nice connection to the theme. I once made the game bug with multiple clicks while having a cable and had to reload.

Great art and concept as always Alex, as others commented the colliders need a little more work and maybe the camera movement when you change direction.  You can check cinemachine if you don't use it already.  Finally maybe somehow make the walls that you can pass through a little easier to recognize. Thanks for the reference as well. xD

Generally the controls need some work, the camera movement with the mouse has a very high sensitivity which makes the game hard to navigate. Also the islands shouldn't be passing one through the other, should they? And a final bug I noticed, while in the island movement state you can accidentally get above another island and start moving that. If those are indented features, my bad.

If you have a webgl build ready and you want to submit it do it asap!

Upload it asap!

If you have a build ready do it asap

Happy to have you. Hope you learned a lot as well!

I can see that you submitted your project and that there is a zip in it.

Hi, what do you mean with that?

Happy to have you in our jam, I hope you had fun!

Happy to have you here. I hope you all had fun!

Good luck! 🤞

If that's a license question, do whatever the License says I guess. You could do both just to be safe.  If that's a question to the hosts we don't mind.

Wishing you both the best of luck!

Good luck!
