Interesting usage of the theme, nicely done

Alright so I played this solo, idk if its intended for solo or 2 play.

This was hard, but in a nice, mind bending and challenging way. Simplistic yet pretty art! Where this game REALLY shines tho is in the actual mechanics which work really well! I never felt that I died unfairly, it was always a mistake on my end, and this is key when creating a game like this! It makes the player want to come back and get better, rather than rage quit because they feel its un fair.

Good work!

Very intriguing mechanic! It is quiet hard for a single player to stay in control. since the enemies are targeting directly at the player then maybe give a shield at the beginning. all in all a good game with great visuals and sound.

honestly, it's really good. the sound effects, art, glow, and everything sets the mood for a really cool game. it does have one big problems: having friends. like most game developers i unfortunately have 0 friends to play this with, and it's kinda hard to play with one person, only got a highscore of 970

Good concept. Simple graphics, but good enough. The controls are hard to master. When my character of left hand, go to the right, then my brain mess.

Have you tried to move both character with the same arrows, and use other buttons to make them attract/repulse and others for rotating left/right. It seems to me more manageable, but did not try, so It's probably trash.

Overall, good game. Keep it up.

Loved the idea and the visuals are really good! Great job!

Solid art design and SFX. More commentary in my playthrough.

this game is cool every thing about is fun

The visuals and sound effects were great! The concept was fun too how you connect to another ball and you can't get too far otherwise the connection is lost and you have to restart.

It was kinda hard to play by myself but this seems more like a two-person game. Great job!

Interesting game, I really like the mechanic. It's actually really interesting to play both characters and posses a nice challenge.

The amount of polish was really impressive. Good job dude!

Congratulations on submitting your first game! Music & SFX were very pleasant. I really liked the visuals. The theme of the jam was clearly met, good entry all around!

The light and sound effects are so nice. Nice gameplay feeling.Well done

The visuals are really nice! The mechanics work cleanly as well.

I'm just imagining this being multiplayer with 2 teams of 2, the chaos would be amazing aha. You could even implement enemy AI to replicate that up to a point, but that is just a random idea.

Pretty fun, I just wish I could see more of the playing field. Also I really like how you can play defensively to let enemies pile up and then swoop in for a huge multiplier to the score. It creates this risk vs reward playstyle that feels rewarding if the player can pull it off. Good work!

it felt a bit weird having to controle both of the players at ones, but it was fun, and looked realy good nice postprocesing :)

well done

Fun, interesting, creative.  A few others have noted it's a bit hard to play by yourself, but I suppose that's where the challenge lies.  (I'm imagining Small Ant playing this with his feet for some reason.)

I think one thing that might have made it more accessible would be to have the option to use dual joystick controls on a gamepad instead of WASD and arrows - or even a mouse.  I'm guessing you made this in Unity, in which case the new Input System should render that a simple addition.

Developer

thanks! hahaha that be a very good challenge for him haha

Never use the new input system i have to see some videos and start using it, and have to buy a controller for testing, but i need to start adding that to the games haha

Thanks for the feedback and for playing it!

A little hard to play by yourself, but I like the idea: one mechanic, keep it simple and engaging. I have to try it with a friend, probably better than playing it alone.

It takes a few tries to get used to  to controls two player at the same time, and the time dont let me add some slow progression to let the player adjust to the controls, but with a friend its really fun haha. Thanks for playing it!
