Fun game, great mechanics and pacing. Well done!

I liked the way the little gun had a dual use - connecting light posts, and fighting enemies! The way it worked with the enemies made me think of the grapple from Just Cause3, if you've ever played that. Lots of fun, great art, simple gameplay that made sense. Great game!

The one thing I wish was a little different was the feedback on getting hit. Like, there was a sound effect, but it was a little quiet. If he would shake, or if there was a flash or something, it would be a lot easier to notice that I'd been hit.

Fantastic work overall!

Very fast paced game! I loved the animation and mechanics of the wire! Also the way we can smash the enemies...lol. Super funny and a great game!

This game was so fun, the gameplay was great, I loved the sound effects, especially the one where you connect enemies to the poles, the sound is just *muah* Chefs kiss.

This game was BEAUTIFUL, especially the esc window!! I had so much fun playing. Couldn't get past the 2nd level because it was difficult for me but that's the fun of it! :D Soo funny that you had to destroy the enemies with the same rope you use to connect the lamps. Amazing game and wonderful  team! I'm a new fan now of your Indie Studio!

Very cool. Caught a bug on the 1st level. pushed into the abyss, but did not fall, but got stuck on the border. I enjoyed playing.

I really loved the mechanic of connecting enemies to other things and they just fly to that and die. The art is really good, the music is very good.

Cool art style,i and the idea was cool

I could slingshot baddies at light posts all day. What a fun combat mechanic!

This game isn't messing around haha. Just when I figure out the mechanic there are ninjas attacking me relentlessly. Great work on this and catchy music!

This game was very cool! The concept is similar to my game tbh, but the map is bigger. I loved that you can throw enemies on spikes and throw rocks at them as well. It would be cool if you could do a multi kill throwing a rock tho. I miss some feedback when the enemy dies, but I know about the time limitations as well.

Overall it was an awesome game, I had a lot of fun playing it. Great job!

I really like the wire mechanic, so satisfying to use! Good job!

Very interesting concept, with a little more variety of guns and a more fleshed-out art design, you could have a complete game in your hands ^^

That was one of the funniest concept and game I've played during the jam at the moment. The Ziou... Ziou... SHDOooong is really satisfying to hear...  But the game needs so much more juice!!!! Particles! slight screen shake! Blood! And actual enemy sprites! I think might even steal that idea since I love it so much! Also a way to regen HP would be nice... But still nicely done!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! We are very happy to see developers of other very cool games liked ours too. And yeah, this kind of game begs for juiciness, we can't wait to start adding more of it soon. We dropped the source code link in the game's page if you want steal it and start playing with a prototype first.

Hi I'm the developer for https://itch.io/jam/lost-relic-games-1/rate/1580606

This quite good ! You took what could had just been a top down shooter to what's potentially a puzzle shooter game. There were some things that could be improved, like getting hit by one bullet put's you into invulnerable state for a second. Additional sound effects and lighting would do it more justice. And also a different sprite for the main character itself.

Overall, good job !

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and for the suggestions. We agreed and wi'll take into account all your suggestions for future updates. We hope we make something good of this idea.

A nice concept! Enjoyed playing through the levels. Also, really liked the fact that each level adds something new like shooting enemies or rocks.

Developer

Thanks! Perhaps after the jam rating phase we'll add other cool ideas that we didn't have the time to implement

A good game! I loved the characters! But could use a tutorial or a short video showing how to play! You should consider uploading a WEBGL version!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah, it lacks a proper tutorial. We have never used WEBGL before and didn't want to take the risk in this jam, but yeah, it is a good way for the players to quick-test your game, thanks for the suggestion

There's one huge flaw with this game...

...it's too darn short!

This one legit put a huge smile on my face. I didn't even realize you could kill enemies at first, I was just trying to run away from them, and then I accidentally slammed one into a pole, heard that metallic ping noise, and just started going John Wick on them fools. I could honestly play this for hours if there were more levels. This is an absolute gem. Very well done.

Developer

I can explain how happy you are making us with your comment. We have one big smile on our faces right now. Thank you so much for playing and for your lovely comment.
