🤣 Thanks for playing!

(1 edit)

I suggest using raycasts to determine how to place these things. If it hits the ground, just place it correctly on the ground and disable any physics to ensure predictable placement. If the raycast hits a plug at a close enough distance, place it there too. Maybe just make the plug hit box a bit bigger

You gotta pursue this further! This can be an awesome game on steam or a mobile puzzle game

Thanks for the feedback!

We originally planned on making this multiplayer and settled on making an AI for the Jam.

We are aware of the bug on map two but lacked the time to bug fix it before the deadline. And we will work on balancing the dots abilities, we just tried to get the concept out there for people to play.

I'll tell our sound guy you liked his work 👊

🤣 Thanks!

Yes please do! This has amazing potential

DUDE! THIS GAME IS SO COOL!

What an amazing and unique concept. I have never played a game like this before and I LOVE it. Amazing level design and concept. I like the voice in between levels, though it sounds a bit too ASMR like lol

But man A++ for uniqueness and making something really fun and puzzling.

Yeah that magic dot is too OP haha

Hi thanks for the kind words!

I used PPO algorithm. It took me a long time to figure out how to train it properly, and even longer to actually train it 🙃

I went ahead and made a MacOS build for you. Please give it a proper playtest, sorry for the bad experience 🙏

I cannot test the Mac build since I don't own one. Please let me know how it plays 👍

Glad you liked it! 👍

Yeah unfortunately the Web build is slow. I included a PC build that doesn't have this issue!

What happened to the game?

Nice looking menu's but the game needs a lot of polish. If this is something you made yourself, then great job!

Music/Sounds + Gameplay + UI is a lot of work. The overall theme and concept of the game is cool, collect materials while avoiding enemies and progress. I like it. Keep working on this game and it can be a fun steam game!

Check out our game DotFight if you get a chance!

nice game, controls felt pretty weird an I wasn't sure why I was able to drive off the road and learned the hard way that houses and grass blocks hurt lol
Got a score of 73. It's a fun randomly generated game. I like the GTA fonts too.

Check out our game, DotFight, if you get a chance!

Honestly really amazing game, I got a 1:46. And to be honest I would have kept playing but I find the red jars you have to place on things to be extremely annoying in how they work. They sometimes get placed a little further than where you are aiming, they roll around on the ground which makes them unpredictable, they fall out of your hand if you turn too fast (or is it when they hit a wall and you are turning), and you have to be perfectly looking at the yellow light to place them, if you are a pixel off they place and just fall off.

After 15 attempts I got pretty annoyed of them and decided to move on.

Aside from that, great movement, great music, great sound effects (I like the wall sliding sound).
I did lose a lot of frames when the turrets shot or when I was near the electric grids, which messes up my aim, but that might just be a WebGL thing.

Nice job putting this all together in a week! Check out our game DotFight if you get a chance!

Really cool puzzle game. The music and sound effects were on point!
The mechanics were also easy to grasp and the puzzles themselves are interesting.

My advice would be to not have the levels be so pixel-perfect for where you have to aim. Give a little leeway for error. This is a really cool concept though and you should definitely pursue it further.

Give our game DotFight a player if you have a chance, we appreciate any critiques!

A solid game that fits the theme well!
Easy to grasp, LOTS of puzzles, and no bugs that I encountered. Well done!
Add a volume adjuster and progress bar/level selection and you got yourself a fun mobile game.
I also liked the circle wipe transition between levels.

Check out our game DotFight if you have a chance!

AI dev here, I appreciate it thanks!

Thanks for catching that bug I didn't even think of that!

Hehe 😏

I was up until 5 in the morning on the last day 🙃

But we had two people working on the UI and I was working on the levels and functionality.  I'm glad you liked the AI, it took me 3 days to make 😩

ok no worries

Yeah same idk why 😭 there are no errors

Dude this was so fun!!!

I was laughing my a$$ off everytime I bump into a car and hear that crash sound.

I love how the pitch of the bike gets higher the longer you drive, very cool touch.
Fun gameplay loop, fun driving. Overall very amazing game!

Check out our game DotFight, if you ever get a chance!

Wow, this is actually really fun! Great design and unique mechanics!

Controls were good too.

With some sounds and music, this could be a really fun puzzle game on mobile and steam. I highly encourage you to continue developing this game. Really well done!

I read the description. I think you guys did a good job with the procedural level generation aspect of the game. But the enemies are a little too hard to fight.

Would do well with some music and combat adjustments

Check out our game DotFIght if you have some time too!

I like the art but the game seems incomplete so I can't say much else. But keep working on it! Looks cool

Check out our game, DotFIght, if you have a chance!

Can you upload some screenshots of the game to the game page?

<3

Thank you! Any particular dot that you liked playing with the most?

Yeah, that's definitely not right. Works for me just fine in chrome. Maybe it's the Chromebook that's slow?

Thanks for the feedback though, the levels are not visually how we want them to look, but the menus aesthetic is something we wanted feedback on.

Nice music and seems pretty well-polished.

I like the pixelated effect everything has. Is that a shader?

I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean. What is confusing you?

it's weird, it crashes the page. It loads after a minute!

No idea why

check out our game DotFight if you have a few minutes! Your feedback is really helpful

This was really cool! Very unique concept and some of these took a few minutes for me to figure out.

Love this game, could be a really fun mobile puzzle game with more levels and polish!

Check out our game DotFight, we welcome all criticism!

The art is cool. I like the controls and I appreciate the attention to detail for cutting a vine where it was shot.

My gripe with this is the super zoomed-in camera, and also how the camera follows the player. It perfectly follows the player so everything else in the scene moves around a lot which makes it hard to see things clearly without your eyes having to jump around.

Fix the camera and you have a very good foundation to make a great platformer game.

Check out our game too: DotFight
We would love your critique!

Very cool art and design. The game page is also really well done. A lot of effect was put into this.

Yeah I get that, my team and I were also in different timezones. Definitely not easy to communicate and have everything go smoothly. Still great accomplishment for getting it done and submitted!

Interesting game. I wasn't really sure what the point of it was. It seems like a relaxing game where you try to make a constellation by connecting the planets so to speak.
The music and art were very nice. And it was a calm experience. The transition to orbits is really well done.

I think if there was more a more clear objective and a little more fun gameplay, this could be a cool game you play on your phone in your spare time.

Interesting dialogue game. I really love the music and the art. These kind of  games aren't my cup of coffee lol, but it played nice and I appreciate the volume bar that's always available. Nice game!
