Well put together and a great vibe. Easy to understand and having a challenge mode is a nice bonus. Great work!

I know you were part of the stream, but this is here for reference:

Definitely on my list of this jam's best games. I like puzzle games where small, in-the-moment decisions matter this much.

This was my fav game from this jam so far! I really loved all aspects of it - it was challenging and too a few tries to win - which made it that much more rewarding when I was able to complete it!  The art is really charming too.

Amazing art! It was a lot of fun to play too. Cool concept! I did notice that a couple of the buildings were overlapping the ones in front of them incorrectly, but its such a minor nitpick!

Submitted(+1)

Really straight forward gameplay. Some of the buildings really gouge you lol. Fun and simple. Good way to kill five minutes or so!

After some attempts where I did not know what I was doing, the fun came. That's a great game, it totally could be a board game ! Simple rules (once you got it), easy and quick to play.

Congratulation !

I really enjoyed this! So satisfying to make those node connections. Fantastic work .

thanks John! Appreciate you taking the time to play it, glad you enjoyed it.

Great game! Easy to play, hard to master! Takes a few tries to understand, but the tips kept me rolling. Art, music, sound, everything is very good, great job!

ps. I'm curious what ideas yall had to build on top of this?

Developer(+1)

thanks so much for playing and for your feedback! We plan to add some more levels , clean up existing gameplay based on feedback and add new cool buildings as well as different types of win conditions per level.

Very addictive game, and beautiful art and music. Would love to see a more advanced version.

thanks so much! We plan on releasing a version with more content and we’ll be sure to share in the discord for anyone interested.

Weeeeeee! Great entry. Only nitpicky things about info shown in the UI. You know you've done amazing if I record double my usual 10 min of footage!

After seeing the start of the footage I was reminded about a challenege mode. It's spicy! Just the right difficulty for me!

Developer

wow what an honor to get a recorded play through! This is so cool to see your reactions in real time, it really helps to highlight where things are and aren’t working. Really appreciate you taking your time to play through and record your feedback - people like you make these game jams 100x more fun and valuable. Thank you thank you!

Developer

also! Responding to your last comment on the challenge video - we made the hard version originally and decided to make it the “challenge” version on the last day after play testing. I think we made the right call or else people would have been turned off I think :) thanks again

Agreed. Making games on the easier side for jams is a good idea!

It's a pretty cute game with calm ambiance and cool mecanic. I didn't reach the level the first time because of the long road that made me forget to keep enough energy for the end. But then I started over and... I didn't reach the end the fith time either hahah But it was cool anyway ~

ngl probably the best game loop ive seen all jam.

honestly nothing else to say, couldn't find any bugs, seems well polished, art is amazing.

really cool submission, nice work!

This is such a good game, I don't have anything else to say. Just amazing!

Submitted(+2)

This game is really addicting. Most game jam games I just played for a few minutes to get the feel and the core game loop. But this got me really hooked, and I spent like 30 minutes on this. I hope that your team continue developing it for a full release.

Developer

That's the best compliment we could hope for! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the feedback.

Hold on, I just have to *ahem*
"...Instead of Slay the Spire... it's Lay the Wire!"

Anyway, that was a really game! It had a good balance of planning ahead and on-the-fly strategy. Every building was clearly explained, so I never felt in the dark. Your art direction was superb as well!

You all deserve a top spot for making this gem!

Developer

Haha! Thanks for the nice feedback and an amazing tag line for the imaginary trailer playing in my head. Appreciate you taking the time to play it!

this game is good in every thing

This was very fun!  I love the game design, having to strategically decide where to go next.  Each turn was a micro cost-benefit analysis to make it to the end.  The art direction looks amazing too.

Submitted(+1)

Really nice puzzle game, the art is really good, the music does its job well.

Submitted(+1)

I really like the art style and the music. They fit together very well. Congratulations!
