I sadly  didnt get it to properly start, but from what I could see nice game ^^

Killer atmosphere. Nice soundtrack as well. Overal reallly enjoyed the theme. I like these submissions that interpret "overload" in the same way the game "overcooked" does :)

Developer

Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it! I had a great time making this one.

I liked the pixel art and simple controls. I didn't expect the zombie apocalypse game but it seems to fit the theme nicely.

As for the game itself, it was a bit difficult understanding what do I have to do. Once I figured out what each icon means, the game became pretty simple. What I didn't like is that after a while game got a bit repetitive and there is no way to track player's progress. Was I doing everything correctly? Or did I miss something and was stuck in a loop? But it seems that I did alright because my team escaped.

Great job! Good luck in your future projects!

Thanks for the feedback. My goal was to provide more feedback to the user via the prompts and explain them in more detail as you ramp up, but it didn’t get implemented in time!

Nice game! Really fun to play. I really like the graphics. Good luck!

Developer

The graphics are what kept me motivated during this! Thanks for playing.

The graphics are really polished, and the game loop is nice. I like the idea of managing people's tasks. Well done!

Developer

The visuals are what kept me going on this project! The management aspect also came together unexpectedly and I really enjoyed the way it moved the project forward! Thanks for playing.

This game has very interesting idea and good visuals. It lacks of small tutorial. I didn't get from the start that two of the gunners are only close range

Developer

Thanks! Yea, the vision radius was intended to provide visuals so it was more obvious, but I didn’t complete that component in time!

I really like the style and the premise of the game, but I can't understand how to play it properly, I think you should add a brief tutorial to let the player understand how to play. I would also add some sound effects to capture the attention of the player.

Developer(+1)

Yea, tutorial and better audio was on the list, just didn’t get there in time! Thanks for playing it!

Looks nice, and I like the intro.  I couldn't quite figure out how to meet all the peoples' needs in time, but I think the underlying idea is solid.  Well done on the art!

Developer

Thanks, the biggest hang-up is the lack of tutorial to explain the mechanics, would love to polish that part out!

I really like the graphic style and the animations... The environmental setting is also very interesting, and the idea of making a game about such a situation where you stay still and have to defend yourself from enemies is inspirational. I suggest you improve it a bit by explaining well how to play... once done, this becomes an interesting prototype to study and understand how to evolve it. Congratulations.

Developer

Thanks, my goal was to have a ramp up and introduce the management side of things early then overload the user with zombies and tasks, but as jams go, time ran out! Thanks for the feedback, I'm likely to continue some type of work on this!

Submitted

At first was confusing, but after a few moments - great experience! I really like how it all fits together :D Nice work!

Developer

Thanks! That's probably the biggest drawback, lacking in the informative side, you get overloaded with things to do right away. :P

I really like this idea! It's fun micromanaging the guys around the base. I could be wrong but I think there is a bug if there is a player at the post. Does it block the zombies?

Developer

Yea, and I can't believe that I was planning on making it into a bullet hell type game, glad I pivoted to what it became. I'm not sure what you mean by post and blocking, but I can see a scenario where the player blocks the zombies due to collision layers, the lose condition isn't when the characters are hit, but rather if the base is infiltrated!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
