I loved this game.
I only have one word to say about your game: awesome!
Very cool idea! I loved both endings, and the fact that you used the dial up sound to connect to the internet killed me! Great job with this I really enjoyed the cute style!
Thank you for checking out both endings! I’d love to add a save state in a future update so you can resume just before the end to try the other one. And thanks for the kind comments!
Amazing game with just 1 button :) Maybe it would be cool also for mobile. I love all in this game, especially a funny story :D
This game really stands out. The simplicity of the controls, the amusing narrative and the style are great! I wonder how far one could go with a one-button game. The main criticism I have is that the theme is integrated mainly in the narrative rather than the gameplay. Nevertheless, good job!
Super fun! Story is so clever and well done, mini games are simple and fun, graphics are wonderfully nostalgic. Great job and super unique!
I loved it!! The variety in mini games was fun and engaging and your artwork plus the music really gave me big nostalgia! That AOL sound ❤️
Also I love the slow descent into madness of the main computer friend! By the end I think I was using the voice of smeagol in my head and it was perfect lolol
Great game!!
Best game I've played that only uses one key.
One of the bests narratives of all jam!
The games hold me in your story, seriosly, it's very good!
The graphics are amazing (nice choise of the pallet colors), the control (almost just space XD) works well and the sfx is great! It combine too much with the game plot.
The only problem is that game ends =(. I could loose hours playing this game.
Anyway, you're a very good game design and i enjoy you work too much.
I hope to see you next jobs!
Don`t have words to describe how I liked this game. From the beginnin, this sound and style - just stunning. Great gameplay, it is changing all the time, so I didn`t feel bored or tired, really good level design. It remindded me something like Undertale, but with a lot of new stuff. Defenitely this game for me is 5/5. Hope to see more projects like this :)
Really fantastic game all around! Fun, great writing/story, technically complex, fits the theme.
Thanks for your comments and for playing on the stream! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
A really nice game with a great storytelling. I had mixed feelings while playing: from CPU tenderness to terror hahaha. Congratulations!
This is _by far_ my favourite game so far, and I've rated something like 40 by now! I absolutely love it. The story was great and funny, the nostalgia of the old router sound made me actually laugh, I lost a few times in every mini game, but it wasn't too hard that I stopped playing... Each and every mini game was inline with the theme, and the whole story was also about growth. Fantastic work!
Thanks for your kind comments! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
This is one of my favorites so far from the Go Godot Jam! Really loved the dialogue, laughed a lot when I started phishing. Super creative levels and all so very fun! Much respect for putting in the full 56k modem sound effect, in its full glory. Reminds me back in the AOL days!
Great game. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat. Really liked the ending.
Really nice! I like the "retro" internet world... :)
Wow this is so cool! I spend times trying to get over the memory central part! I laugh hard during the last scene.
Thanks for playing!
Nice feels pretty polished and no hassle with learning controls with just space-bar. I would maybe make the gameplay a little less long, so it is more forgiving if you fail. And the collision box of the phishing mini-game seems off?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! You're right, I just checked the project and it looks like I made the hitbox for the 'bad' enemies in the fishing game a bit too large. I'll probably put out a post-jam version with this fixed!
This was fantastic. I loved everything about it!
Thank you!
This was super Cool! I went Virus route by the by. :D I like how much millage you got out of designing the game around one button!
Thanks for your comment! I had already put together like half the game before realising I'd unintentionally restricted myself to just using spacebar, so I just carried it through to the rest :)
