However, to receive the fruit your level must be equal to randomly chosen number (it is from 4 to 6), so not every time when you see the location with huge Tree you can take the fruit. Those locations (with huge Tree) will spawn again randomly, so don't be afraid if you don't receive the fruit at first time entering the location.

Great art and simple mechanics. It was hard to understand how to play until I read the comments. With good sound, it will amazing game for mobile especially. Also, hard understand what is growing :(

I figured the X button after noticing there must be something to help me get past the snowmen if jumping would not help me deal with them :D . I enjoyed the portrait mode of the game, I imagine it would work nice on mobiles!
It was a really interesting mechanic to have the snowballs recharge after a while and it made me strategize how I would spend them! Would be awesome to have the difficulty increase over time as well!
Would be cool to play this game again after an update with more visibility on obstacles and a small tutorial on keybindings/controls for new players :D

Growth TDThank you for your opinion :) Really glad to hear it, as I didn`t have much time to develop this game perfectly :). Yes, i defenitely thought about increasing the difficulty, and yep, my main profile is making games on android, so after the jam I will start polishing this one and making it look and work good on mobile devices. Agree about tutorial, just didn`t have time to draw a few sprites with it, but will add it in final version :)
We had the same issue, ran out of time for tutorial and because of that, many players did not get the chance to play and upgrade our plants :'( . We also plan to develop our game further after the jam and fix all the issues mentioned so far :D

I liked how the game looks. Except not when your behind the trees or somehting. I found the x-button from here on comments but it feels it gets too easy to kill the snowmen then. Jumping over too difficult. And randomly to get the fruits was not working. I dont know how many times I passed the huge trees but no fruits :(
Needs a littlebit of more thinking what the end goal is.
Otherwise Good Job for finishing the game for jam!

Feed Your DragonsThe art is really good and the core gameplay seems simple and fun enough.
Though, I was not a fan of getting hit by obstacles and enemies hidden behind the trees, it's almost impossible to see them (especially rocks).

So, answering your question - when you take the loot from snowmen you can icrease your level, than if your level is high enough (randomly chosen number 4-6), while running near the big tree, you will get it automatically, and so on, until all 3 fruits are collected.
