I like the graphics that you used and that they are in the same artstyle, as it makes things easier to read. From what I know tower defense games can be quite difficult to make, so congrats on tackling this type of game!
I think adding a tutorial would really help people better understand what they have to do. I know from experience that it's not quite the easiest thing to implement. After all, after you've been working on the game for some time everything seems to make perfect sense to you, but for someone who first sees your game things can get confusing really fast. Good job!
Thanks for Playing!
Kenney has assets for several styles of games, all CC0 (do whatever you want).
Yes, a Tutorial would make an excellent addition since the buttons have pretty generic names.
I don't appreciate tower defense games, but this formula is a nice and promising twist on it. I found the controls very unintuitive, took me a while to understand what my inputs would do. When I did however the game became quickly tedious and my eventual win unavoidable because the AI does not seem to fight back. The angles vs demons is a nice idea, wish it was reflected into two more distinctive and characterized factions.

There were ideas for having 4 Players (there are assets for 4 Minions) but it would involve Camera adjustment.
I love a good tower defense game! And I love the thematic element of angels and demons along aside the theme of the jam for growth! It was fun seeing the armies grow! It took me a moment to really know the pro gamer moves, but once I got it together I was having fun trouncing those demons! Fun Game and Great work!

Doesn't really feel like Tower Defense when you can't actually manage Towers, just select them.
The idea behind the game is really good, but the gameplay falls a little flat after some time. Definately needs more powers and some angels and demons themed graphics. Good job nonetheless.
Thanks for Playing!
Exactly, the Military-inspired graphics don't do it justice.
My partner had ideas for more powers (like portals!) but we had to keep it bare due to time issues.
It's really cool and relaxing to play, loved seein all of my demons coquering the angels base :D
Thanks for playing!
It gets crazy when you let the Minion generation rate grow and there's a line of them marching (Conversion is more effective too).
I realy like this game!
I think if you add some sfx, it will make a great diference.
Anyway, you have a good idea and the mechanism works perfectly.
Congrats for the great job!
Thanks for playing!
Both sound and art would be awesome. The generic from Kenney doesn't fit the theme (Angels vs Devils) too well.
It is an interesting mechanism. I see potential in develop into a full-fledged game. good work!
Thanks for playing!
Sadly, having both the Composer and Artist bail on us didn't help. It would've made for a far better experience.
Had to come to the comments to figure out how to play but once I got the hang of it I crushed those Devils. It was fun!
Thanks for playing!
Sorry about that, I added a note in its description on what the buttons/powers do and how long they last.
Here's My Gameplay! First Vid!

Coders always assume Players will figure it out themselves. :P
Thanks for playing!
We have Pachi to thank for the concept.
Could use some explanation, especially with the convert function (which I still don't know what it does, despite getting enemy Nexus to 0 health.
But it's a decent game, could be really good with some more options!
Thanks for playing!
Conversion turns any enemy Minions in the area to your side/team when they die.
If a Nexus reaches 0 it stops producing Minions. A Game Over screen would follow since you won.
This ended up being more of a Prototype/Proof of Concept entry.
Oooh, that's actually an interesting mechanic, wish I figured out how to use it.
Good game! Maybe have a small tutorial in the description!
Thanks for playing!
I added some information on the Details on what the buttons do.
The idea of reinforcing the weapons is nice and can be developed further. It needs a tutorial to explain how the conversion and reinforcement system works.
Thanks for playing!
Good idea. Figuring everything out for yourself would at least need to be in segments so the Player can learn progressively.
took a while to figure out what to do. Was pretty addictive but seemed to be stuck in a stalemate.
Thanks for playing!
It is stuck in a stalemate by default, giving players ample opportunity to experiment. This should however be done in parts to avoid flooding him with options from the get-go.
Should the AI have the same abilities it would get a lot harder.
