The presentation and concept are really good! I completely understand the time restraints, though. I barely had the time to add a tutorial to my game. Nice job! :)

Developer

thankz for understanding bro

Submitted

Haha, of course... 48 hours is a very short time to make a full game in!

Developer

i had about 32 hours cuz I had school and exam at the same time thats why

Submitted

That's really unfortunate timing... Hope you had fun, though!

Developer

Please read description before playing!

A tutorial would be great as it takes some time to understand the game. Else: I really liked the font. A good choice for this game. The color scheme also fits the gameplay.

Developer

fully agreed

Really interesting idea, but definitely a little confusing to get the hang of. I wish there was some indicator on whose turn it was, or counters for how many moves you have left on your turn. This game has a lot of potential to be a really fun game to play with a friend! I love the artwork too, the colors are really easy on the eyes. Great work overall :)

Time is the greatest enemy :(

I feel that haha. Definitely continue the game outside of the jam, what you have right now is a really interesting idea that could be taken so much further given more time!

Controls took a bit of time for me to understand, but quite fun once i got the hang of it and a very unique idea

epic game

Takes a while to figure out but then mechanics are quite interesting! Kudos!

Developer

It does take a while. I kept every info in the description

Could not get anything to move. I don't understand. Best I got was 2 greens stuck in one corner.

Developer

I understand, use the arrow keys for moving green and w a s d to move the red

Submitted

I couldn't quite understand the controls, but overall it seems like a good concept and if worked on, it could be a great project

Developer (1 edit)

try reading description :0 also my bad thag I couldnt add tutorial in time

Submitted

Very nice game. Sadly I couldn't try the multiplayer bet it's good though.

Developer

I would have made an AI only if i had time :(. dont worry i dont have friends to try it out either xD

Nice game made, took me a while to figure out the controls.... just to then find them in the description (yeaaah, should really read it:DD).

The controls are still a little clunky, also seems to have a bug that as player 2, I can move indefinitely for some reason and he sometimes fires more than he rolled on the dice.

I liked the concept, it might be better to not have the players for all directions, or maybe have them scattered across the map? Because it seems like I didn't ever get the chance to use them as they died before I could get them to a good position.

But for a young solo dev. with school, really well made!

Developer (1 edit)

yea i tried my best to fix the bug but I ran out of time. Also your point is right, I would have done that but you know *Time*

Great choice on the color palette. Beautiful art and the gameplay was decently fun for me. A nice game <3

This is a great idea! Unfortunately I did find it really buggy (not clear when dice are supposed to roll, sometimes they roll when placed into the squares and sometimes they just roll and then don't seem to count, you could counter this by having the dice pop back to the start after being used and maybe a column for rolling before you place them into the slots for move and shoot).

However, I can see where you were going with the game, and its a great idea! The art is really well made, and look at that tiny file size, I haven't seen that engine before, but its impressive you crammed all that into the game! I hope you keep working on it after the Jam.

Developer (1 edit)

i would if I had didnt had exam :( thats why I was in rush. also the game engine is GDevelop

Totally get it. The game is great for a 48hr jam, let alone having the time and stress of an exam. You should be really proud! Only about half the people who entered even got something uploaded. The suggestions were more for if you continue the work later (which I hope you do). Apologies if it came off as derisive, not at all my intention.

Making a local multiplayer game for a game jam is definitely a bold move, as most of us well.. Have no friends to play with in real life.

Overall it seemed neat, but some sort of turn indicator would have been nice, I just fiddled around with the controls for a little bit, moved a piece across the board and blasted another piece.

Developer

thanks alot brother :) I would have made rhe game better but i had to start a day late cuz of my exam.

You did a great job! Your assets look good, and the idea is fun. I hope you're able to keep working on it! :)

Developer

I will I think XD
