The game looks really cool and unique with the isometric perspective. It makes moving a bit more difficult to master, however. The art style is nice, and I liked the transition between levels. The way you make spells grow and being summoned/moving is really nice as well. Most games out there will give you an instant effect in the turn you use the spell. Really creative on that one!

Using WASD to move diagonally was a major hurdle and I think the game would have been better with a more traditional grid or maybe mouse controls or something?

ignoring that issue, i enjoyed the turn-based problem solving of dodging enemies + a meteor spawning over your head or when you push the ice block into an enemy etc.

visually i'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about i thought it looked good lol

Graphics were a little hard to read for me so I couldn't tell which direction I was going in! But I thought the turn-based mechanic was cool! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedgein <3

Fun game! Nice little concept. I like that you can't just spam your abilities because a meteor will come and crush you. I thought the camera wobble when you move was a little uncomfortable and struggled a little with the directions, but overall managed to play just fine. Except for you know, being ass at it and consistently burning myself to death :D

Awesome work! Love the art, so far my favorite take on the randomized attacks games! Each attack felt unique and had it's own strategies, I especially liked the strategy that came from the ice cube sliding mechanic.
Beautiful little game!

I love the visual of the game, but I would make the character to stand out more!

Nice job!

The game is Wonderful! The art is so amazing. The game style is really enjoyable. and overall, it's pretty cool! For some reason, it reminds me of Crypt of the Necrodancer.

The only thing I could critique is the perspective of the game. It's just hard to remap my brain to press WASD keys for angled directions, and I don't think that's your fault xD. However, good job, really!

Good job on your game! All of the powers were unique and useful, the art was great, and the music was good!

Awesome game. Super fun, lots of variety kept things engaging. My only super minor critique is I would have liked to just restart the level when dying rather than restarting the whole game.

Excellent entry!

A fun, challenging game! The randomness always made things tense, especially when near the reaper enemies The isometric perspective also was a nice touch, even if the controls took a little getting used to. Good work!

Nice game. love the mechanics. The lack of sound was noticable. Good job.

Great game! The abilities were unique and interesting, and the use of randomness was solid! My recommendation for improvements: maybe adding arrows or something for which ways the enemies move, or make enemy actions more deterministic so that the only randomness is from what ability you get (it was hard to hit the arrow ability and track down slimes sometimes if they keep running away from you). Great visual style, and overall a solid, cohesive game! Great work!
