A polished and complete feeling game. Loving the very crlsp sound effects. Gameplay is simple but engaging, and feeling satisfying.

Excellent entry all around! Not much to say beyond that! Art was gorgeous and it played really well. Nice work!

Nice game! Fun to play and really nice art. I wish that the dice above the enemy pieces were just a little bit bigger so they were easier to read, but that's my only minor nitpick. Great job!

Loved the concept and just wanted to keep playing and see what the next piece would take to be defeated. Fantastic work!

Cool game! Using the die as your weapon really adds to the chaos and I enjoyed the dystopian board game aesthetic -- great work!

Really great art and music. I love the concept. Sometimes the dice would end up odd but it wouldn't kill the enemy it should have. Really fun game.

The physics of the dice are great, I love it! The sound effects too are really sweet, it's good! When there are too much enemies on the board I just throw every dice at them without looking, it's funny.

Well done!

Thank you for adding full screen! Makes it a lot easier to see the dice faces on the enemies.

Really cool game with an awesome mechanic! Definitely not easy, but it was engaging and exciting. Had to do a lot of quick decision thinking like, "Should I use this dice to hit the knight or the bishop?" or "Do I try and go for all match and use this dice?" Also an interesting balance between defense and offense, since you're forced to stall and make room for yourself if you don't have the right dice.

The rook was a little hard to figure out, and sometimes it felt like the dice I was using didn't work on an enemy even though it should've (though it's a bit hard to tell since the game is so fast-paced with how much is going on all at once). Those were the only downsides to my experience; everything else felt awesome. Excellent game! Definitely one of the best of the jam.

This is great. That's all I can say. I didnt find anything that's negative game design-wise. This for sure is going in my GMTK jam favorites collection.

So insanely good. Not too much information as to overload the players, but enough that its always engaging. The different enemy types are very unique, and the condition for getting new dice is cleverly simple. Nice job!

This is the best game I have played so far.  Very unique and inventive mechanic.  Super pleasing pixel art, with great feedback and sound effects. loved the minimalistic soundtrack too.  It was super stressful in the best way to try and pay attention to the movement and think about what die would be the appropriate one to throw at which enemy.  The tutorial was very nicely done.  If you had buried all of that in a mountain of text it wouldn't have stuck with me and would have taken me several runs to figure out how to play the game.  My one very small piece of constructive criticism would be giving the option to skip the tutorial once you were comfortable with the rules of the game.  Totally get you not having the time to do that in 48 hours though its super impressive what you were able to pull off in such a small jam.  Very solid game, you should be proud!

oh lmao! I just realized I accidentally left the option on to always play the tutorial. Thanks for the kind words!

I loved this game. The dice throwing and thinking you have to do before taking each shot is a nice challenge.

very cool game. I loved this. but the movement seemed a bit too delayed. it felt like the input latency was high and jelly like. but I thought it was super fun to play!

Super cool concept! I love the art too, the characters are adorable!

Damn, what a great idea! Using the dice as a weapon which only works with certain numbers. Awesomely smooth play, very polished. We're very impressed
