Thanks for playing the game! Originally, we had a more ambitious vision of the game which involved letting the player set up each room. Due to time constraints, though, we had to pare down our scope.

A bit of a learning curve, and it's not immediately apparent what the benefit of discarding cards is.
But once you get deep into the mechanics of the game, it is a blast trying to solve the game. Playing both sides of the conversation to work together is a brilliant concept, and this game delivers on execution. Brimming with creativity and very polished! Thank you for including the "how to play" button everywhere in the game. I'm impressed with just how much well-thought-out depth there is to this game.
My first victory was very easy and I found the contact on my first conversation and won. My second playthrough was a lot more involved, as my very last contact was the one with the Cardword. Very satisfying!
I am thoroughly impressed by how smart the hero's AI is. No matter what configuration of monsters I tried to use, the hero completely dismantled my team, oftentimes with just 1 HP left!
Normally, I'd be frustrated toward difficult games, but this one just left me awed more than anything. Fantastic game!
Super fun concept with some minor frustrations. Namely, the text gets messed up when commands are sent in way too quickly, and even at max volume, the VO was a bit soft. The HP bar was also irritating to get precisely since trying to move it over by 1 is very easy to accidentally overshoot with higher mouse sensitivities.
Complaints aside, I loved when things started to get hectic. Having to multitask by moving my minimap guy while clicking on the right buff sequences felt awesome, and the VO itself is amusing and adds a nice layer of charm to the game. I would've loved to see how the rest of the panels added to the gameplay, but I'm sadly not good enough to make it past the minimap phase. Still, impressive entry for the game jam!
Fun game! Simple and creative idea with lots of mechanics that all play into each other nicely. The game is a tad unforgiving (one mistake and you have to start all over again), but that's just inevitable given the premise of the game. I was not good enough to see the special ending, but I really enjoyed this game regardless!
Cool to see another jam entry with the reverse tower defense, "you are the villain trying to stop the hero" concept! The ideas here are cool, too. I had fun possessing the different robots and seeing what they could do.
Unfortunately, once the player broke through the first floor, they were completely unstoppable since they respawned with full health and armor, and I had to just rely on the default robots that were wandering around (who weren't enough to take down the behemoth of a hero). Still, this is impressive for a game jam entry! Good stuff
