It was challenging to figure out at first because the game starts off quite difficult, but it was fun.
I was misled by the thumbnail expecting to pluck up food to make a chicken massive myself but it's actually a fun game to play. Great job!
Suprisingly fun game. Trying to stay without depth at the end of month was thrilling to watch. Game was ballanced for this, but for someone who never played the game before it was quite hard figuring out the perfect strategy, because game starts quite hard right away. But once I had some strategy to stay without depth it was fun.
Edit:
I also liked how you get upgrade when staying in depth at the end of month, ot ballances the game and makes risking important.
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanics :)
I think the reason you found the start difficult is due to each month being so short, if you waste any time, it's a loss. Also the fact that there is no tutorial makes it even harder to learn.
The game starts out hard, and ramps up difficulty even further. I wonder how the devs play it 🤔
Great game, I loved it! Spent a lot of time trying to figure out the optimal strategy, never managed to figure it out xd
Thank you :) That's what I intended for the fun to be, finding the optimal strategy.
As for how I play it... I think the numbers for chicken growth and upkeep are pretty good. Also, upgrading to max level is never worth it due to the high cost. I didn't really have time to balance the game.
Loved this - unfortunately I kept going into debt :( One of the best titles btw
omg this is so fun hahaha. i like how I can just keep on going into debt so I can play the game more and explore more mechanics! Awesome game!
Love this sort of game! Going into debt never felt like an issue, allowing me to take riskier decisions. Pretty fun game!
Maek chkn bg. MAEK CHKN BG!
An expected, but good direction for the theme! Wow, it's hard to get outta debt, huh?
Big chicken = good. Its kinda hard to stay outta debt. Nice game.
That is one thicc boi oh mama.
I LOVE THE CHONKY CHICKEN
Really engaging trying to find the best set-ups. I miss some little visual feedbacks of which constructions were costing me money every day.
Still, what a great entry for a Jam, and a cool concept for the theme. Congrats =)
Yeah I agree there's plenty of feedback missing from the game. I'm glad you enjoyed the "tinkering for the best set-up", you made my day :D
Chunky chonken approved.
Love the goofy chonky chicken concept haha
The game was a tad tight on difficulty for me, and some of the icons for research are a little unclear for how they affect the game. But I liked the concept!
Good Game. Like Chonken.
I haven't finished the game yet, but I for sure having fun playing it. It's so satisfying!
