I enjoyed the art a whole lot! The sfx used were also really well selected and heightened the experience. As other's have mentioned, it wasn't very clear that the cards drawn on the dawn of each day are permanent. "Daily bonus card" led me to believe that the effect expires after each day.

got scales 10/10

Really good puzzle/money management game, with a really good twist! The dragon scales give a lot of fantasy opportunity, and make it stand out a lot!

This was a really nicely polished game! I'm not sure if I just didn't read the instructions carefully enough, but it took me a while to realize that I get to keep the card effects every day. Also, those weird townsfolk kept wanting nothing but elixirs, which was rather annoying, as I kept having to go harvest water constantly and ended up with just way too many water dragon scales, haha! One small nitpick: there are two items named Lapiz Elixir, one of which was the blue amulet, which I assume was not intentional. I also wish the tutorial quests told you to look in the shop first before telling you to craft any item, because I ended up crafting something that was useless for many rounds. But those are two very small complaints, as overall the game was very fun and well-made! Love the art and the music as well, the dragons convey so much personality with just their one pose.

Had some trouble understanding what AP meant I why I can't craft anything hahaha. Overall, a great experience!

Very well done! Even though in games like these ther is always a clear best strategie - get the most resouces possible and sell the most expensive stuff - but the art and feel was just so well done.

I just can across one little bug - if I wanted to craft multiple times the same thing like 2 red hammers I had to quit out of the forge after the first hammer and re enter to craft the second because it would not accept the second hammer otherwise.

But that is a minor issue well done everyone!

The Built to Scale theme is played out stylishly and creatively

This game is undoubtedly the one of the most polished games in the jam entries. The artwork, animations and the concept of the game are all brilliant.

I wish you best of luck for the next round.

Also, I invite you to play and rate my game as well, it will make up my day :) :)

I liked the card system. Also the art is awesome!

Nice game!

Everythings is pretty, the designs, the art, the music/sounds. Simple to understand and entertaining.

Only issues I found were: the blue amulet has the name of the lapiz elixir, some items out of order (red/green elixir, red/blue shields) and one time after crafting an item I couldn't select it again and had to select another and then back to be able to craft it again.

An endless mode would be fun, to see how far one can go.

Definitely one of my favorite games of the jam!

Very neat game, super duper easy though, would've liked if the dragon's demands were just a bit exponentially higher. Otherwise though, very fun to harvest stuff and sell it, and lovely art all around, quite nice!

Dragon Scales is a delightful game with a fun twist on dragon lore! The idea of harvesting scales while keeping the dragons happy with gold is both unique and entertaining. The game is well-polished, with only a minor bug where a recipe didn’t load (but re-opening the menu fixed it).

The art is charming, though I think unifying the style of the dragons and items a bit more would make it even better. It’s a relaxing game with a nice touch of strategy—I found myself wishing for even more strategic elements to dive into. Overall, it’s a lovely and engaging experience. Great job!

Simple but very well executed! This could very easily be turned into a management sim on a much bigger scale.

The art is beautiful. i have never played something like this and it was really fun! Congrats.

Glad to see the game worked out! Wish I could have been of more help this year, but it's very fun!

I loved the punny dragon scale theming, as well the scaling demands of the dragons! The music/sound effects, art, and concept were really neat too. I wish there had been more recipe scaling, like being able to unlock more complex but higher profit crafting items over time--I think that would have fit the prompt a bit better as well as helped the game feel less repetitive over time. I would also love a way to check what was in the store while you're crafting. But overall, I had a really fun time playing!

I love these types of game! Love the art direction. Probably with a little more work and content it could be a game you can release.

Would greatly appreciate it if you checked out my game!
