Very interesting mechanic, Was pretty fun once figured out!
Neat concept! Level 2 was a tough one to crack, but after that it made sense! I like the idea
Took me longer than I'd care to admit to realise I'd gone to level 2 - thought I'd done something wrong when the hole opened up ^^;
Not seeing the dice roll did make it feel a bit disconnected from the number array but that's a smol thing. The game played well, and the last level was challenging to solve~
Nice work~
Cool Game! The mechanics and puzzles are very good I just think it needs some sounds and confirmation that im doing things right. I would often just keep rerolling until its correct maybe a max amount of rolls or something to make it a bit more challenging. otherwise Great Game! =D
Pretty fun game! I really like the minimal art style! I wish there were just some sound effects. Understand the way you rotate is a bit confusing, but when you understand it, it's pretty fun! Figuring out the path to go was pretty challenging and fun.
Very clever game mechanics! It's simplicity is very effective and allows for some fun puzzles. The minimal art style is also a big plus. I really enjoyed playing your game. Nice job!
Smart and elegant! Loved it
Very clever! Only really missing some sounds.
Great job on making a neat little puzzle game! I enjoyed going through and beating all the levels. The transition from beating level 1 and going to level 2 was a bit confusing at first (didn't realise there was a hole) but after this hurdle, it was fun :D
Opposed to Dane's comment, I actually really like your presentation of the game. The simple and pleasing color design does well to highlight the puzzles as the central part of the game. I was a bit confused of what was going on initially, but once I figured it out, I was able to complete some levels!
Some minor improvements: I'd likely put some sort of arrows or dice sprite with the numbers on the right side of the screen. Also, in the future try to utilize music/sounds. I think they're central to a game's atmosphere and can really help keep the player drawn to the game, making the game have more dimensions.
Overall, I like your idea and the aesthetic really helped this game stand out. Great job on getting this game made in such a short amount of time!
Cool. Its just that the presentation is not good, but I know that Jam is short and its hard to polish everything, Good job friend ;)
I'd say I skipped presentation part and made it all rought. This game was my second attempt during the jam. I didn't like the first one and still wanted to jam so I created this one in 4-6 hours.
However, I'm happy with the result :)
Thank you!
The game lacks animation / sounds to be more clear. When you die, why you can't be in the red part etc. But overall the game is clever and makes you want to try again when you fail.
I didn't really understand how to play to the game, I was stuck in level 2..
I'm sorry about it. Let me clarify the game's rules.
The die moves from 1 to 6 cells at once in the direction of the pressed arrow. The movement distance depends on the value of the chosen direction. You can see the value of directions on the right side
I added this description to the game's page too. Thanks for your feedback!
Oh it makes sense ! it's such a cool mechaninc
Really quick to grasp, and great puzzle concept! Wasn't expect dice orientation to twist my mind as much as it did. Nice job!
Loved the simplicity of the game!
Very simple but clever. I just wish it was more obvious what numbers were facing where. Overall, really fun!
I love the Atari aesthetic of the game. Clever use of the rotating numbers to represent the die.
Whoah this was really creative.
I bookmarked this for when I'm in the mood for a clever puzzle game.
Thank you very much!
itch was breaking down on me during this game so the screen kept going black before I could get to the end but I really enjoyed it
I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
