Simple idea but cleverly executed! Only suggestion I have is the die should have a drop shadow and maybe have camera controls; the lack depth perception is a bit irritating, especially if you want to take advantage of jump shots.
Here i would really want more levels - and maybe more/cooler side effects while you're at it xD
I personally would replace the underpowered attribute as it is just not very fun (maybe something with screenshake/earthquake?).
Definitively a creative use for the dice in any case.
Interesting take on the theme! I beat it and loved the level design. Nice job!
Fun game!! always went for the jump modifier but luck was not on my side hahaha Awesome work!!
Unique take on the theme. Very fun and enjoyable! Would play this again whenever I'm bored
Good job <333
Now this, this is what I want from a mini-golf game. Audience reactions, confetti, cutesy music; it has it all. 10/10 would jump shot the whole course again.
I really like this! It's simplistic but still feels polished and nice, I love the little confetti, the ball physics and controls are good :) Nice entry!
Love the concept. I would make the die a bit bouncier, so it is easier to go along walls and around corners, but it is otherwise great!
very nice game. the execution is really good with the only thing to nag about being that it seems impossible to get a hole in one
Fitting and fun idea, intuitive controls and good SFXs. Well done and for some reasons I specifically despise hole 6.
Very cleanly executed!
Really like the random effects concept as well :D
That was really fun. The physics work great and I love the different effects you get. Jump shot is my favorite by far, You can do some really cheesy stuff with it. I especially like how you can do a super low power shot to just turn the die once, manipulating what ability you get. I just wanted there to be more levels so I could play more. Great Job.
I love golf games, so I was excited to give this a go. Very beautiful art and the physics work great. Of all the effects, the scattershot was the hardest to work around. Overcharged and jump shots were fun to strategize around. The cube shaped nature of the dice ball incentivizes riskier and stronger shots, though I sent the ball off the course many times.
My only suggestion would be to make the 5 another interesting effect rather than no effect, to make it even more unpredictable. With that, maybe randomizing the side of the die on the first shot would be fun.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit, very well done!
I had many ideas for effects but I quickly realised I wouldn't be able to add them all in time. The scattershot was a last minute idea to fill up a slot on the dice and is subsequently my least favourite. I was going to have an effect on all 6 faces, but I decided to give the player a chance at having a break.
If I had more time I would definitely add more effects (and more interesting ones) and I would randomise which effects were on the dice too for more variety.
Thanks for the feedback :)
Design is very satisfying. Sounds and visuals are on point!
One thing I noticed, is that due to the die cube nature, there is a higher chance to get one of the four sides rather than left and right one.
Really enjoyed playing it, thank you for the experience (the best game yet, it would have more views and ratings if it had a web version, I think). Hole 5 was hard)
