It was hard to understand the rules, but after that I enjoyed the game

Developer

Thank for for playing the game! :)

I couldn't quite understand how to beat the game, but I liked the art and the idea in general. I believe the page that explains the controls could be a little more explanatory, I had to read it a few times to understand. but you did a good job =] congrats

love the dice faces

if you have the time, could you watch my game and give me feedback too?

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! I am happy that you like and art . I hope you did understand the controls after a few rounds. I get a lot of comments about it not being really clear what to do. After this gamejam I will update the controls menu to make it more clear. You can change the dice character you play as using the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 key. Each has its own color. You can kill the pokerchip using the same color as he is and can travel to different floors by changing into a color. I hope this comments helped if you ever feel like playing it again.

yes, I managed to change my character and pass some doors. what I didn't understand was that I needed my character to be the same color as the enemy, this information was very important! Thanks. Maybe now I can get further!

Developer

Hope you can enjoy the game more, now that you know all the info :)

I found it hard to figure out what was happening, cute art style though!

Kinda hard to figure out what to do but it was a bit clearer after looking at the controls page and messing around a bunch. Also had a bit of a hard time seeing the poker chip enemies in contrast with the background. The vibe is on point though!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the game! Some other people also talked about the color difference, so after this gamejam I will make sure to put a black line around the enemies to make it more clear that they are there. Thank you for the feedback :)

Cool looking game, sadly I was often unsure what to do. I felt like too much was happening at once.

Cool game overall though!

I actually really like the art work in this game! It gives off a good retro pixel art vibe and the mechanics are fun and challenging, although sometimes you can get stuck!

Great game!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing the game! Sometimes it's hard to get out of a situation, but we've done that to make sure it remains challenging. I am glad you like the artwork :)

Although it took me a bit to figure out what to do at first, your game has a neat concept! I also enjoyed the casino theming as well as the giant obstacles!

Developer

Wasn't clear on what to do and the controls menu didn't make much sense; despite this, I really enjoyed the art and music in it, and seems like a great concept!!

This game has an interesting mechanic. In terms of visuals, everything blends in with each other a little too much; I recommend you add a dark outline around more important subjects. Otherwise, the idea behind this game is cool!

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! I am playing on doing an update to this game after the gamejam is over. I will make sure that the designs will have a black outline. Hope you still enjoyed the game :)

I cannot figure out how to play, even after reading all the comments. Could you add some instructions to the description?

ohhh so you have to change the dice color to match the chip color to progress! you have to change fast or a giant dice will squish you. Great job!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing the game. It takes some time to figure out how everything works, but I hope that once you understand it the game is very fun to play :)

What on EARTH have I just witnessed !

Great effort, even though I don't have the slightest clue what was going on!!

I didn't understand how to progress! I die when the dice hits me, and also when I hit the blue pokerchip? My score screen is always empty. I could have used a more detailed tutorial. I liked how funny it looks though! Smobbel is grappig om te zeggen :)

So I couldn't understand what to do. The controls menu didn't make that much sense to me.

But playing the game the door would keep restarting me to the start position and the blue coin killed me just like the big dice would 😂
idk if I did something wrong or if the game is more than my brain could handle.

but it's a cool submission.

I had a difficult time figuring out how the game worked. I also find it difficult to distinguish enemies from the background. The dice that appear from the side were too quick for me to react to what was going on at all. As I slowly understood how the game works, it was fun to collect the coins though. Good job.

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! I am planning on updating the game after the gamejam is over, so I will try to improve it :)
