So cute! Love the pixel art for this so much! The other racers put up a good challenge. You did an amazing job with this :D

Interesting that compared to Mario Kart, instead of rolling for the type of power-up, you get to roll for the strength of the power-up. However, I think adding property might have been a bit much, and it seems to have left the actual steering controls lacking, giving the game more of an incomplete feel.
That was really fun ! The chaos of the game makes me want to try it again and again until I win. Just trying to prove that luck can be on your side. After 7 tries, I finally was able to beat the AI (which I believe can dodge bullets :P)
Really impressive polish, never once have I encountered a bug. I did try to win by jumping over the hill using the ramp and a boost power-up. It worked, but it wont register me as the 1st, I guess there was a check somewhere on the track for these shenanigans.
Awesome, thanks for beating it! Yeah it's really chaotic and easy to pull you back from 1st position. They speed up if you're ahead and slow down if you're behind, but it's not necessarily easy to overtake them with all that's going on. It definitely needed a few nerfs for a game jam.
I never tried to jump over the hills, but I have it set up so you always have a target waypoint along the track. You can skip the target waypoint but only as far as the next target waypoint. It works in a way so you can have shortcuts in but not skip the entire thing. Good try though xD
Wow this game is a lot of fun. Cannot believe this was made within 48 hours great job! Nice level design, nice idea, nice mechanics.
Really nice style. The mix of 2d sprites in the 3d world I really love! The tower properties are a little frustrating, but the property mechanic very unique and fun to play with!
I really enjoyed the mix between CrashTeamRacing+Monopoly. Unfortunally I was always last in position :(
Thanks that's what we were going for! Yeah we didn't get too much time to test it out on other people and forgot the golden rule of making it easier for a gamejam, so here's me with many hours of experience playing it trying to balance it xD. It does have a slow-down and catch-up mechanism if you're too far ahead or behind, but they still speed up when you get close to them. Definitely needed more tweaking.
Man, this is nuts! The dice rolling for the properties and powerups adds both chaos and strategy to the game, and I like that. Feels very good to control too, the arcade-y boosting and bouncing is just a lot of fun. Super charming graphics too, especially the racer sprites and the dice trees!
+charming art
+great music
+fun mechanics
+ fun controls(for the most part)
- not optimized there half of the game i just lagged but it was still fun while i played the game at 20fps
could use some particle recycling and unloading chunks but its a jam game
- can get stuff for no reason
-has random stops in the input when you get by a bullet mostly or stepping on a spike that still go on after the effect
-maybe just me but i cant play the game in not full screen maybe on unity part
awesome work for a 2 day game i had fun although lagged alot but the fun overweight the bug count
i liked the visuals and the untextured buildings since they reminded me of monopoly
the art may a bit inconsistent but i liked the feel it gets off it
interesting take on the theme this year! Check out my game if ya have the chance!
