This game looks very cool. I agree with other reviewers that there isn’t much to do other than clicking roll, it may be closer to an idle/clicker than an RPG but still very cool idea with a very nice polish. One note, when clicking the fullscreen button it breaks and I need to refresh the page for anything to happen (Chrome on Windows 10)
Death and taxes are truly unavoidable.
My favorite tile combo: Battle → Random → Ability → Shop → Battle
The scariest one: Death → Battle → Battle → Death → Taxes
It could use a bit more strategic depth, like meaningful path choices and some item to pick a dice number by yourself—but all in all, it’s a great game!
Also, feel free to check out mine!
18 loops is impressive! My best was 14
This is monopoly but good
Loved the artstyle and the sfx (very overlooked in my opinion, but very important). I always love the concept of mini-rpg. Although, i didn't quite enjoy the combat part of it all, being an autocombat transforms the game in "a click the roll button" game and most decisions are just linear (more armor or more attack) and based on "have i enough money?", not deciding X over Y with an interesting choice behind.
Somehow got taxed way too much just like in real life. 10/10
Really fun game and really enjoyed it, easily just sunk over half an hour rolling and hoping for better upgrades.
The art style is awesome. Pass through loop 14 and be defeated. Seems a bit too random as there are only a few things I can control. Would be great if I can see the max health.
Fun game, at first I thought the guradian angel was just for the death corner so I was pleasently surprised when it triggered.
Really cool entry! I don't think I've seen a tabletop game presented in this style before, especially as a jam entry! Great work, thanks for making it :))
I liked it a good bit! Was pretty straight forward, but I like a simple click button, things happen! RPGs and auto battlers in particular are pretty fun
Love it! well polished indeed.
I don't like boardgame with dice :( But I think you have something good (arts and the loop) Probably with more time you can make it a real game, but remove the dice please !!
easily one of the best games in this jam, love the style, only thing is that the gameplay becomes repetitive quickly
I really like the artistic style of making a very good game.
The combination of visuals and sound gave the game a strong atmosphere. The game feels like it has its own identity. Love it!
Brillian entry! Probably the game I have spent the most time with just because it is so seamless, well polished. A lesson in scoping your game. You kept the mechanics simple but polished the game feel to the max. Just the pacing / balancing may be a little off - but that's to be expected from a Game Jam game.
Excellent job!
This is awesome! Its like having a quick and cool mini adventure haha
Also realy nice Art, great job :)
What the fuck did I just play, this is so incredible nice work !
This actually could be a really amazing full fledged game! Amazing how this was done in just 4 days. I genuinely enjoyed playing this
So cool, I love this kind of games.
Nice art style and gameplay, it reminds me of For the king, excepts it plays by itself. However, I dislike the grimreaper mechanics that can make you lose instantly, as I tend to be really unlucky.
