This is such an amazing idea. I’m way too terrible at it to actually tie my shoe. would love to watch someone complete this haha

Submitted

Hahaha I loved it, but its imposible to me. Great stuff! Congratulations on the game! :D

This is great! Took me two tries to get the laces to stick, once I figured out the pins that made things much easier. Also realising the finger pinch was a toggle... The controls made a strange amount of sense once I was done with my vague half-plat half-coil knot :D

Great concept, great execution!

Okay i already had the time to test it out! This is a really neat concept! But pretty hard to master! Its very unique and i did enjoy it. But soooo hard! I have to try a few more times :D

Developer(+1)

Keep trying and one day you'll be able to tie your shoe!

Thanks so much for playing!

Quite fun, albeit infuriating (which is the point)!

Submitted

This is quite fun! Very difficult to get everything working at once. I can imagine some crazy person speedrunning this as it would certainly be a difficult game to master

Submitted

this is sooo hard XD

Developer

Comeon, you can do it! Even you can tie your shoes!

Absolute madness that would make QWOP seem easy in comparison 😂

The interactions complexity is impressive for a gamejam entry, well done

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Our ultimate goal is to have the original creator of QWOP play our game hahaha

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, it took a lot of effort to get it all to work properly.

Absolutely hilarious. Brings to mind Surgeon Simulator or Octodad. I can imagine having a great time watching a charismatic streamer struggle to tie their shoes.

Developer

That would be the dream!

super fun concept, loved seeing the keymapping screen with like 15 inputs to tie your shoelaces haha :D

Submitted

Ha ha! A great physics game! However, since I'm so useless at keyboarding, tying my shoelaces is mission impossible for me! :p

But great concept, and congratulations on the work!

First try with a scuffed ass ball, allways love a good Unity physics game <3, very fun to mess around in!

Cool concept, impossible task. More cool than impossible! this got a good lough out for me

Developer(+1)

I know, tying your shoes is hard :)

Just kidding, thanks for playing! A laugh is exactly what we always hope to achieve with our games!

Very cool concept. Have to sit down and really try beat this later.  The music is very nice and ties it all together  (pun intended)

Submitted

Holy moly I was so bad at this haha. Really cool idea, love the take on the theme!

Developer(+1)

What, you don't even know how to tie your shoes?!

Just kidding, thanks for playing!

Developer

Thanks for checking out the game. Yours looks interesting too, I'll be sure to check it out.

Genuinely love the game, although I fear my brain is not huge enough alongside lacking enough wrinkles in order to actually tie shoes. Would be genuinely interested to see what a VR version of this game/concept would feel like though, I reckon it'd be a great time :D

One day I will be able to tie my shoes :,(

Developer(+1)

Keep trying man. One day you'll be able to show your dad and get your handheld.

Developer

A VR version would be interesting, but I feel it'd also lose some of the challenge.

It's such a fun idea and I genuinely was getting sucked in but it's just too damn hard there's no way in hell I could do it. 10/10 rage game though.

Developer

Thank you! If you keep trying I promise there's a worthwhile win screen!

By the way, are you related to Mark Brown in any way?

Unfortunately I am not but I'm sure he is a great man

Developer

Here's a tip: You don't actually have to make a traditional knot. It can be anything as long as it stays together.

WOAHHH THIS IS BIG NEWS

(Composer for Perish Wheel)

This is actually purgatory.. Just joking, I'm a really big fan of the sound track and the melody. The game play is lets just say confusing... I'd recommend if you want something to be stuck at for a while. Joking obviously this is well made!

Developer

My wonderful cousin made that soundtrack, we are very proud of it. And of the game as a whole. Of course, I cannot disagree that it is indeed purgatory. But believe me, it is possible to win!

Developer

Thanks for the compliment. I honestly kind of surprised myself with how well the song turned out. We've been humming it throughout the whole Jam.

Submitted

Oh god this is difficult. Really original and I like the vibe of it though

Developer

The difficulty was intentional, lol. Thanks for checking out the game. We'll be sure to check yours out as well.

QWOP 2 just dropped... This is a really silly game and a fun interpretation of the theme!

Developer

Thank you so much! It would also mean a lot to us if you could rate us!

Submitted

Sure!

Developer(+1)

Haha, yeah. Qwop was obviously a big inspiration for our game. Thanks for checking it out. Your game looks pretty sick as well.
