I loved this game!
The puzzles where hard but also fun to play (except like one level on the second world that made me say really bad things)
Sadly the graphics is not amazing, but i understand some limitations :((
Tho the rest of the game was amazing, the music fits pretty well with the game, good job!
Thanks so much for playing!
It's a cool puzzle game but brings something very complex to it, i liked it !
Thanks so much!
great take on the theme! it tickle my brain abit
Thanks so much!
Level 1-2 was the most interesting! The game overall reminds me a lot of the GMTK 21 winner, "Sleepy Blocks." Good job.
Thanks so much, I'll have to check that one out!
I love the gameplay! And the levels evolvs so fast. That's what I expect from a puzzle game!
Thank you for the treat and inspiration!
Thanks so much for playing!
(੭ ˊ^ˋ)੭ ♡ starts of simple, but for each passing level I found my self getting more and more engaged
Thanks for playing!
This game is incredible. It takes a common-ish concept and it does a lot of extremely clever things with it, and I love the faux-Atari 2600 aesthetic the game has, too.
My only real gripe with it is the lack of an undo feature, but that doesn't take away from how good the game is. I honestly think it should be covered by a puzzle game Youtuber, it's that high quality.
Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! An undo feature was definitely something I wanted to do, but just ran out of time for, so I will definitely try to add it post-jam. Thanks again for playing!
Simple rules and gameplay, but some of these puzzles are really difficult. I loved it when you starting using the walls of the levels as part of the puzzles, and nice touch with saved levels and faster movement as you get bigger!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you noticed the faster movement, that was pretty important to keep it from becoming a waiting game when you scaled up a lot.
intriguing concepts, liked the simples but appealing graphics
Thanks so much!
Very interesting idea. I love the plot twist when the border can be absorbed at the end of world one! Obviously a bit more polish would be nice but that's almost besides the point in a game jam. I guess my biggest complaint would be that I had no idea there was some rule for what blocks you could pick up until I read other comments. That's a cool mechanic and I wish it was better communicated. Overall, actually fun!
Thanks so much! This is good feedback to hear. I thought levels 1.2 and 1.3 would have communicated this since each block grows in size, but I probably need to be more explicit about communicating this to the player.
Very nice interpretation of the theme!
With some extra polish and a full set of levels I could definitely see myself sinking a lot of time into completing this.
Some feedback regarding the SFX, it would be good if you put a low-pass filter on the “bump” noises, because right now they’re really sharp and detracts a little from the overall chill experience when you make contact with walls (which shouldn’t give strong “you made a mistake” player feedback).
Thanks so much for the feedback! Sound is not my strong-suit, so I'll definitely give that a try.
Nice game. Quite relaxing and easy to understand sokoban style puzzle game.
The main frustration for me was that there is no way to know beforehand what will be the order of pieces unlocked, so you will always fail the first try, and then need even more trail and error until you can memorize the order. Only after that you can try to come up with a solution and then execute
Thanks for the feedback! There is an order to the pieces, you can only absorb blocks with a total area smaller than the player's total area, but I probably need to do a little bit better job communicating that. But trial and error and experimentation is definitely part of the intended design. Thanks for playing!
Game feel is on point.
Congrats!
Thanks so much!
Its a great concept and also very well executed it has a very interesting mechanic and it really makes you think about how you have to solve these puzzles. Amazing game!
Thanks so much!
Something about this game is really intriguing and thought-provoking. It's a simple concept executed fantastically, and it fits the theme very well. Nice work!
Wow, thanks so much for the kind words!
Really love this puzzle game, such a nice idea with well done execution!
Thanks so much!
Dude I really like that you can skip stages that you think are too hard, if you managed to clear several easier ones, this is such a quality of life feature and thats what game jams are all about, showing how important these little things are!
The game is very simple yet super captivating and clever, I love it!
Wow, thanks so much for the kind words! I was really trying to work on improving my difficulty curve and making sure people could play through everything with this jam, so I am glad you took notice!
Great puzzle game! Pretty unique and interesting, I would have enjoyed however being able to see all the parts to the puzzle from the beginning, instead of having to restart and remember their sizes and positions, but if that was intended then maybe that aspect just isn't for me :P
Thanks! That is definitely part of the intended design, but I can work to make remembering specific positions less of the priority, so thanks for the feedback!
Really cool mechanics design, i love a good puzzle where you actually must restart and think better.
Thanks so much!
