Interesting strange game, I like the voice acting, writing and art. One minor gameplay thing that would have been nice would be if pressing spacebar mid-dialogue makes the entire line show up instead of skipping to the next line, I accidentally skipped some lines partway through.

I didn’t understand what was happening on my first turn but it was pretty intuitive after, it’s a fun risk taking game! The atmosphere was also well done, though I wish Mr Spooky Skeleton did something more menacing if we bust.

Pretty well polished game, the visuals are nice and the variety in enemy types was great too!

The tower defense concept was fun and the graphics were really well done! A speedup mechanic would have been nice to have, though the game felt pretty polished overall!

The art and sprite work are beautiful! I wish the game was a bit easier, especially with the enemies around. I do like the enemy mechanic though.

Really well executed game, reminds me a lot of old school smartphone games!

Really cool game, the art is excellent and the story was engaging all the way through. The argument mechanic was neat too, reminds me a lot of the weird little RPG maker games I enjoy!

Thanks for trying it out again! Sometimes web builds randomly don’t work so I usually give it a couple of tries if a game seems obviously broken in a jam.

Oh no, what device are you using?

Cool game! I like the idea of combining rhythm and tower defense, the different towers having different rhythm requirements also add a good challenge to balancing your attention between them. Well done!

Very cool entry, I think it captured the old flash game vibe extremely well. The gameplay was satisfying and I like that the main mechanic involves controlling the trajectory after launch which keeps me feeling like there’s a good element of skill involved. Art and music are fantastic. Well done to your team!

Thanks for playing! I agree with you about the gameplay, I was running out of time and did what I could to balance the game so it wasn’t completely broken progression wise. If I had more time I would have both improved the balance so each upgrade feels more impactful along with doing a mini-tutorial for each upgrade (probably showing the effects through a mini popup critter simulation) to make the upgrades clearer.

Thanks for the feedback, it’s good to know what someone who’s a fan of the genre thinks about the game!

Thanks for playing and for the compliments! I focused a lot on the atmosphere for the game, so I’m glad that came across well.

Thanks for playing and for the compliment on the music :)

That’s strange, are you playing on an M series Mac?

Thanks for playing!

This is my favourite game I’ve played this jam, warioware but fishing is a great idea and it was really well executed!

I love that the game doesn’t take itself seriously, you guys did a good job keeping that silly vibe in the graphics, music and gameplay. 49 of my pterodactyls got wiped by the first meteorite, 10/10

I love the goofy looking cars and sound effects, including how they’re all running on legs?? Very fun and weird (in the good way) entry!

Thanks for playing and for your kind words! I worked especially hard on the aesthetics and general vibes of the game so it’s nice to see that coming across well. I totally agree with your critique about the gameplay, I felt the same way when playtesting it too. I ran out of time to properly balance the gameplay in the midgame like you said.

Thank you for playing and the kind words :)

Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks for playing! I agree the game needs to be clearer about the upgrades, thanks for the feedback :)

What a cute game! For someone who claims they have no idea about clicker games, you made something that was constantly engaging! I found the progression littered with small but interesting things and the visuals were fun too.

If you buy enough clicking upgrades the game encounters an integer overflow bug, I had that in my game too but you could detect it and stop it from happening :)

Thanks for playing and for the comment! The aesthetics, story and music were the parts I focused the most on so I appreciate the compliment :)

Interesting game concept with really charming art :) I also really appreciate whoever did the volume sliders for setting a reasonable default volume and starting the sliders off at 50%, too many games add a settings menu that have unreasonably loud/quiet minimum/maximum values.

I like the idea of being the dangerous creature in a stealth game :) The art and music combined also reminds me a lot of old Atari or C64 games. Nice job!

It took me a bit to get used to the mechanics but the grappling is a fun addition to the game. The frog is cute and the music fits the theme too!

Also big props to getting the game running smoothly in the browser!

Other than the mouse sensitivity that someone else mentioned, I think it’ll be good to maybe include some kind of aim assist slider for accessibility since the targets can be quite small and move quite quickly.

Well done for doing a solo 3D game, it always intimidates me to think of doing one in such a short period of time!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, the things you mentioned (presentation, story, and overall vibe) were the parts of the game I put the most thought and effort into :)

Thank you for completing the game! I really appreciate the comment about the vibes, it was definitely what I was going for with the aesthetics.

Thank you for playing, it means a lot!

Thank you for your kind words and comments :)

I agree with the narrative checkpoints, the “mission” panel in the game was originally meant to be a place where the computer adds a log of their thoughts over time which would serve as the narrative hooks you mentioned, but I had to cut that feature out because I ran out of time ;-;

I really focused on the aesthetics of the game for this submission, so I appreciate the comment on that a lot!

Thank you for playing and your kind words! I totally agree with you regarding having more visual details of the critters, I had to cut out a bunch of stuff because I just ran out of time :(

This is a beautiful game, reminds me a lot of A Short Hike in a good way. Really impressive jam submission!

Thank you for playing and your comments! I had to cut out a lot of gameplay ideas because of limited time so it’s lacking in that, but I worked hard on the presentation of the game to try to make it look and sound good :)

The art style is gorgeous, I love that your critters were made of something physical! I find myself wanting to zoom out a bunch when moving around but it’s otherwise a nice and chill find the item game!

Very cute game and artstyle, fun execution too!

Lovely pixel art and overall a cute game! I think the idea of having multiple different characters with different movement mechanics in a Frogger-like game is neat.

Reminds me of the creature creator in Spore but with a fun twist where you can’t exactly see what you’re going to create until you’ve done it. I like this idea! Your ideas for possible addons to the game also sound cool, I like simulations in general :)

I love this idea, reminds me a lot of Baba Is You. The graphics are clean and fit the vibe and the game is really polished :) As a composer I think it would be really satisfying if after the level is complete a few additional instruments come up to make a short looping light piece of music, the dings that the puzzle element make are so pleasant they’re just calling out to be used in a track!

Well done, I’d love to play a full game of this!

Fun logic game with excellent art and style. The game feels very polished overall and I enjoyed it quite a bit, well done!
