I agree with the narrative checkpoints, the “mission” panel in the game was originally meant to be a place where the computer adds a log of their thoughts over time which would serve as the narrative hooks you mentioned, but I had to cut that feature out because I ran out of time ;-;

I really focused on the aesthetics of the game for this submission, so I appreciate the comment on that a lot!
